Up to the clubs to take the threat seriously. Get moving or expect the same. Ruthlessness is sport. And it is time the Knights as a franchise had a singular focus. Panthers have it. Broncos have it. Storm have it. Team first. Community second. You get the community support by winning.

Yep. Just take it. Get kicked right in the nuts and have nothing to say about it. Inspiring stuff from a fans perspective (ex-fan of the womens game now obviously). No remark about what we've done to keep her. No remark on the Broncos ability to accomodate her. No comment about this as a precedent and bad look for the NRLW. Nothing. Just a meek "no comment". To say our club frustrates me would be an understatement. I'm so sick of everything we do.

Personally I have no bad feelings towards Jesse. It's a professional sport. Everyone here would jump ship of they got a better offer at a better company. Why should Jesse stay?

Hope she goes on to dominate the game and become the best player in the NRLW. Hopefully she achieves all she wants and returns as the best player in the world in a couple of years and guides us to a couple of Premierships here as well.

Is it a case of Newcastle could exceed the broncos offer easily "on the books", but because the game is still semi professional, all these girls are getting "jobs" for the club during the off-season that are outside the cap? Jobs which the knights dont have the budget for to just be handing out like the bigger clubs?

I'd throw a lot of coin at Kelleher as a replacement but I think she's on contract til '27 and NRL.com doesn't mention any options. Like the NRL, the halves market is very bare heading into next year. The Roosters are doing so well with their central coast reach, seems to be a gold mine.

Part of professional sport is the fans telling players they can get fked when they leave. A tradition as old as time. In fact it shows the NRLW was in a good spot (until recently) given how pissed off Knights fans are about this.

Jesse is of course entitled to do whatever she likes. I think most people here understand the blame doesn't lie with her but with the system.
