Des or Toovey to coach please

I think Des Hasler is damaged goods after he's failed stint with the Titans. I know State of Origin is a different beast to coaching club footy. But if the reports are true that Hasler is looking to retire. I just can't see NSWRL going in that direction.

The Geoff Toovey suggestion makes more sense to me. Toovey hasn't been given a sniff of coaching NRL since his stint with Manly. But Toovey taking over a talented squad in NSW is what he had in Manly. He wouldn't have to do a huge rebuild, and instead make tweaks, which would probably be an ideal situation for him.

Ugh, f**king losers.

Start with Daley out please, and for starters take Edwards, Latrell, Luai, Robson, Yeo, that dogs prop, Leniu, Martin, Stefano, the Roosters porno kid, and Nathan Piss with him.
Hopoate FMD

We know you have some weird vendetta against the best FB of his generation but if you aren't going to nominate him, at least put Paps in.

The story is at first they thought he was a Queenslander because he played for the Broncos. That is legit the level of effort they were putting into researching origin eligibility in the late 90's early 2000's.

It might have even cost De Vere a few games as his first game for NSW was in 2001 I believe.
If that story is correct, makes you wonder how they correctly picked the liked of Chris Johns and Terry Matterson?

If I was put in charge of the NSWRL, the first two things I am doing are:

a) Inviting Laurie Daley in. Awarding him lifetime membership of the NSWRL (if he doesn't have it already), thanking him for everything and then announcing we'll be paying out the remainder of his contract as Origin coach, effective immediately. We are going in a different direction from here.

b) Looking at how much more we can reinvest into junior league development, with concentrated focus on the Riverina and Northern Rivers NSW (keeping the AFL and the QRL at bay)
