Tyrone May named at Lock for NSW Cup. Makes his selection at Halfback in NRL the last two weeks even more confusing.

Had we gone with Burton and Salmon at 6 & 7 with May at 13, we would have been MUCH more competitive.

That was the same takeaway I had from the last 2 weeks. Just people hate May so easier to blame him. All on Ivan imo

Well that's just unfair. May was not halfback standard and is just as open to criticism as any player in the nrl but because of his off field stuff that's somehow becoming a shield for him on field.

Eisenhuth is a great baseline to judge players by.

Looks pretty good in reserve stage but is the definition of fringe first grader.

So essentially any forward who plays better in reserve grade is worth a shot on the bench if a slot becomes available for the main side.

Naden with two really poor plays in the part five minutes.

Horrible attempted tackle and then the drop on a kick return.

He'd been very good in attack until then

Saw the most bizarre couple of minutes I have seen for a long time involving the North Sydney Bears blue shirt trainer. He basically followed the play around the field for two sets, one of theres one of ours. during there set he screamed at the ref, waved his arms around on three separate tackles appealing for a crusher on one occasion and two other tackles he was appealing for penalties. Honestly he was basically at first receiver there entire set, it had to be seen to be believed.

First half was poor, although the windy conditions made things difficult.

A couple of observations, Taylan May impresses every time I watch him. Definitely has a future. Jaemon Salmon was good. Robert Jennings came off with what appeared to be a knee injury. J’Maine Hopgood has great work rate and was probably our best forward. Arthur Crichton must be the smallest back rower running around, but certainly has a crack.

Just on Naden anyone questioning whether he is putting in or not, needs to watch the highlights showing the Bears 70metre intercept try. Naden was in the attacking line had to stop, turn and chase there winger. Despite giving him a good 10 metres, Naden chased as if his life depended on it, caught the guy near the line but couldnt stop the try. I read someone post he made a couple of late errors which is a shame, because he had a pretty good game. I left with 15 to go so not sure what mistakes he made.

So when he pleaded guilty you saw no one saying he should of been fired?

People like Ivan so instead of bag him. Bag the one they don't like
