The Warriors have just won the NSW Cup (Reserve Grade) for the first time in their history, beating the Dragon 30-12 in the final.
Up the Wahs, things are looking good for the future.

Awesome effort, dropped 1 game all year?

I dunno if it at all translates to future success at the top level, because what it is right now is proving we have admirable depth...but the next step is the EITs, Goings, Taines etc being eventually promoted and becoming consistent NRL grade talent. Having a strong 30 is meaningful but at the end of the day, it needs to provide a powerful 17 to have most effect.

Looking at our 17 vs the Bears 17, if we don’t flog them it will be a major choke. We have a 17 of mostly fringe NRL players or young NRL players who are already pretty good at that level, while I hardly recognise any of their players and don’t think any of them could be called genuine first graders. Fletcher Baker is their big name.
