NSW Game 3 Teams

Out: Dugan, Merritt, Hoffman, Reynolds
In:: Stewart, Hayne, Grant, Mannah
So Stewart, Hayne, Jennings, J. Morris, B. Morris, Maloney, Pearce, Grant, Farah, Woods, Lewis, Bird, Gallen. Merrin, Mannah, Watmough, Fifita.

Only reason I'd keep Jennings and the Morris bros is because we don't have much else.
Maloney and Pearce can f**k off next year.

And f**k no to Ferguson. f**king idiot can sit out a few years until he grows a brain. Dugan too. Both f**king idiotic wankers.

Dugan is fine and Steward was already proven to be ineffective last year. Hayne needs his fullback jersey back. And Tamou needs to come back as well

I remember reading the same things about Merrin when he made his debut. You can't judge him on 20 minutes. Should be picked again.

You probably did, and it was prob by me as well. But Grant, Tamou, Fifia and Gallen are simply just better then woods. He needs more time to develop.

1. Hayne
2. J Morris
3. Jennings
4. J Idris
5. B Morris

6. J Reynolds
7. A Reynolds

8. Fifita
9. Farah
10. Woods
11. Watmough
12. Bird
13. Gallen (c)

14. Lewis
15. Tamou
16. Merrin
17. Grant

Lewis is a good impact option and utility.

Grant & Tamou provide spark from the bench

Merrin plays tight backrow like he does for the Dragons

When Fafita came on, he made an instant impact. Woods isn't as strong as Grant, Tamou, Fafita or Gallen

](*,) He played less than 20 minutes and was the starting prop.

Woods: 15 tackles 3 hitups in less than 10 minutes.

Impact? Fifita got a linebreak and gave away 2 penalties right after when he came on. Is that your idea of a impact?

Not to mention it's shows how f**king stupid LD is by giving a bench player more minutes than your starting prop.

I'd definitely keep both and move Gallen to lock and bring in Grant

On Woods, I feel for him if he's dropped but Tamou and Grant are both proven performers at Origin level and should come straight back into the team.

Fifita needs to start
Game 3 should be Pearce's last ever origin game. He has never stepped up in Origin.
Hopefully now Souths fans realise why Merritt is not an origin player

Merritt didn't play well and shouldn't be there game 3 but that term 'origin player' is ridiculous. If a debut game determined whether someone was an 'origin player' or not then Hodges would still have one game to his name. Jennings, B. Morris, Farah, Watmough and Merrin would all be lucky to be off the NSW blacklist as well.

So you want to give Merritt another chance?

The other guys you mentioned have at least played strongly at club level to warrant them getting another chance. Merritt is just a solid first grade winger, not an origin winger.

I dont think we cqn change the halves now but neither Pearce or Maloney are origin standard imo. Besides the maloney linebreak in game 1 I cannot think of anything either of them has done good with the ball.

He didn't manage to get go forward from the beginning though, in the contact situation more often then not he was taken back. I wouldn't mind your idea if Merrin was injured or something. He needs the 13 jersey

Forwards were never in the game as we had no ball. Kicking game was shite. I saw Watmough at dummy half on the 5th on the QLD line. No excuses there.... Halves need to lift along with Hooker.

I'd leave the forwards alone. They will lift. Merrin and Fifita were good. A few others need a bit of a look at their effort.

I'd be bringing in Hayne and Stewart. If either is not fit, Taufua to wing. If Fergo is back, I'd still like to bring in Taufua on the left wing and drop the Morris or at least carry him on the bench. He gets through a lot of work for Manly.

Jennings was terrible tonight. But deserves another game.

If Mal pick DCE on the bench again and plays him out wide like that, we need 4 big forwards on the bench.

To be fair, I think thats because Farah was off and Reynolds was the guy playing the ball

Read the part where I said 'shouldn't be there game 3'
Merritt was playing well at club level.

17. Sutton

Tamou goes on after 15, pushes gal to lock and lewis goes to the bench and comes back on fresh before half time.

Sutton can be placed anywhere in the backrow at around 50 min mark.

I thought Pearce played ok tonight but if we lose he has to make way for Reynolds. when we needed a repeat set no one delivered. Game 3 will make or break Maloney's and Pearce's origin careers. i can see the 2014 blues pair being 6. Mullen/Sutton 7. A.reynolds.
