Are you serious? By his own admission his idea of winning games is passing the ball to Inglis.

If Jennings & Lawrence are not the centres after Friday night I officially give up on the Blues.

Unfortunatley their attitude continues through to NSW residents as well with the top ranked side only getting two players in the NSW side and Jason Taylor coaching

If Jason King gets picked he will be absolutely dominated since he enjoys to back into the defensive line and throw shocking offloads that put his own team under pressure. Honestly, how he was even in the squad last time is crazy. If he gets in ahead of Snowden/Mannah/Tolman or another young prop who deserves a run, I will not be happy.

Mitchell Aubusson - best hole running backrower in the game by about 100 lightyears.

The next Beaver Menzies.

Besides, Ben Creagh has already had enough chances to prove himself and failed embarrassingly every time.
No. There are so many better backrowers in the competition and for NSW than him you would lose count.

Please don't tarnish great players.

No need to include Gidley for his goalkicking. Shift Jarryd Hayne to fullback. Michael Gordon onto the right wing. Both positions and goalkicking improve.

Jarryd Hayne has played some awesome rep football on the left wing, but on the right he has never really fired. He's always caught out of position and is a liability. With Brett Morris being a specialist left winger and the form one of the competition, Gidley should be dropped to accomodate Hayne IMO.

Michael Gordon is a specialist right winger and a great goalkicker. If you're playing Jenko on the right he also has a solid club combination with him.

Good points MX, Just depends if the selectors have the balls to drop gidley and the like, I get the feeling we will see the likes of scott named in the 3/4's again, but I think gordon could do a job outside jennings definitely. I just hope they pick a side tat can score points and not a defensive side which is such a negative move.

Oh the selectors certainly won't drop Gidley. Especially with his club form recently having been pretty good. They picked him in the first place despite having bugger all time since returning from injury and his form being average in that time. Although he certainly won't be the worst player picked for Game 3. Hopefully he gets demoted from captain so that the selectors can leave him out next year.

They are now talking up Josh Morris' chances of getting a centre spot for game 3. I am sorry, but he is half the player he was last year.

Neither are any of the Dogs players but that hasn't stopped the selectors.

Daley has already trotted out the "team combinations" excuse for picking sh*t why wouldn't he use "who knows each other better than brothers" to justify an underperforming Morris inclusion.

I think if this happens it will see Idris & J Morris in the centres with Jennings & B Morris on the wings

As long as the following people aren't picked I'm happy.

Gordon, Jennings, Lewis or Waterhouse.

Please pick Idris, I may as well get some laughs on the night.

The team will be announced at half-time in the Canberra-Canterbury game. Asked where the uncertainty lay, McCarthy replied: ''Props, winger and centre.''
Penrith's Michael Jennings is set to return to the centres after playing two games of last year's series. He could play on the left or right, depending on whether St George Illawarra's Beau Scott is retained on the right.
Canterbury's Josh Morris is back in the frame for selection. The reunion of Morris and Jennings would provide NSW with the same centres pairing that helped them avoid a Queensland clean sweep last year. It could also allow Morris to play alongside his brother, winger Brett. Nathan Merritt (South Sydney) and Michael Gordon (Penrith) are competing for the other wing spot. Up front, Cronulla's Kade Snowden, Parramatta's Tim Mannah and Manly's Jason King are strong contenders for promotion.

THE TEAM
Possible NSW line-up for Origin III:
1. Jarryd Hayne
2. Brett Morris
3. Josh Morris
4. Michael Jennings
5. Nathan Merritt
6. Trent Barrett (c)
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Kade Snowden
9. Michael Ennis
10. Jason King
11. Anthony Watmough
12. Luke Lewis
13. Paul Gallen
Reserves: Kurt Gidley, Greg Bird, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs, Tim Mannah

Jennings has got to be on the left. He was playing right at the start of the year and looked pretty average. He was back on the left the other night and look what happened. He needs to be left.
