hehe... this comp really does mimic the real comp... City vs Country isn't a real selection trial in either case

I don't know about that, there's four Eels in this NSW squad, when was the last time that happened? Glad to be a part of it though, its an honour to just be part of the 18 so far.

As its being said in other threads, the competition is a lot closer this year and imo, a lot tougher than previous years... so there's not much between the players from different teams.
A lot of players are more experienced now while other players chose not make themselves available.
Plus, the selectors are corrupt. 8)

I predicted that before City-Country.

I was right! (*gets out trumpet*)

The NSW rep players for F7s NSW v QLD rep match are:

Willow (Bluebags) (c)
Everlovin' Antichrist (Lions) (vc)
El Coconuto (Sharks) (vc)
chriswalkerbush (Easts)
Genius Freak (Sharks)
Colonel Eel (Eels)
ibeme (Rhinos)
Reserves:
Thierry Henry (Pirates)
Goleel (Eels)
Seano (Souths)

Thanks to the refs for giving me the opportunity to captain a tremendous outfit and congratulations to the players selected.
Sorry to the players who missed out. It was a difficult decision and near impossible to split up the training squad.
There's more rep matches to go... I'm sure you'll all shine in 2004 and 2005.

Match will be posted tonight (Saturday).
Full time: WEDNESDAY 30th June at 9:00PM (Sydney time)

Cheers.

I'm grateful for my selection. I thought I'd blown my chances in the City v Country match. I'll be sure to repay the selector for his faith.

It's good team... plenty of G and D.
I looked at consistency, committment, and those who might be champing at the bit. I actually took it seriously for five minutes. ;-)
Truth be known, I agonised over it for ages.

Congrats to everyone selected. Especially the 2 rookies from the Eels who have been solid for the club all season, and have been rocks during our slow start to the season.

I'm honoured to have been chosen in the side amongst writers of such talent.

There isn't a player on the original list whose articles I haven't enjoyed.

Thank you.

Whoot! Stoked to be given a run in the NSW squad in my rookie season! Now I just need to get something together before I get those wisdom teeth out. Not sure an article written under the influence of pain-killers is what's needed. :p

Chosen as a vice captain.

Many thanks Willow! And now, lets get this show on the road.

Kisses the New South Wales crest on T-Shirt and walks out of the press room. ;-)
