Brooks needs to get bigger to play origin or he will get smashed. His defence is far to garbage for origin and tbh his attack isn't polished enough either.
Same with Kelly, IMO I can't see Kelly playing origin ever. Wighton has more of a chance then him.
Aaron woods is overrated.
And maybe on tedesco but he has competition in hayne and Dugan.

Re defence of halves:

Whighton is a turnstile. Just watch last week's game v Newy for proof. Kelly is woeful in defence. Obviously Brooks needs time but I'll bet he'll become more than capable. Pearce is more than capable and Reynolds not too far behind him. At least he has a go.

Tony Williams has the potential to be a game breaker at origin. But he needs to leave the Bulldogs first to further develop himself. Unfortunately he just doesn't seem to fit the structure at the dogs, Manly was making far better use of him and he was giving them far more.

2 other players to keep an eye on for the future is Mitchel Mosses and Mitch Cornish, them two along with Brooks and Wighton would be the ones fighting for the halves jerseys in the future.

NSW needs to think really carefully about the right centre/wing combo. QLD's left side attack is lethal and putting players out of position there is a risk.

Farah playing direct and pretty much strictly as a dummy half in the new WT structure will aid NSW no end if they get the halves right

lol, you haven't stopped trolling, have you? just keep using all these players who play great for their clubs, but lose year after year at origin. add kelly, yeah he'll make the difference.

surely in the 200 nsw eligible players in the nrl you can find some with some ticker?

FORMER Blues five-eighth Trent Barrett says Albert Kelly is a genuine State of Origin chance and revealed the Titans halfback is on the verge of Country selection.
Kelly has started the season in flying form, scoring four tries and averaging over 200m with the ball in three games.
The 23-year-old was the feel-good story for the Titans last year as he resurrected his career with 11 tries after being sacked by Cronulla and Newcastle.
Now he is in the frame for higher honours, with Country coach Barrett confirming the 89kg speedster was in line to take on City in Dubbo on May 4.
“We put together a list of about 40 blokes the other day and Albert was on it,” Barrett said.
“There’s other guys there, your (Todd) Carneys, (James) Maloneys, Josh McCrones, who are all in that position.
“But if Laurie (Daley, Blues coach) wants to look at a younger guy, I’d have no qualms with giving Albert a go.”

I wouldn't trust Kelly as a starting half. Bench impact maybe, but even then I'm pretty against outside back 'impact' players on the bench.

When it comes to the dog fight like will always happen, I don't see him keeping composure.

Sezer is good and has potential but he is not better than Mullen, Carney
