I would laugh so hard if this is just a massive beat-up and it was Pearce and Maloney again :lol:

I don't think Hodkinson & Reynolds are the best halves combination NSW can offer but I'd prefer to see them given a shot over the incumbents.

Gotta love that when Pearce finally loses his Origin spot after being the only guaranteed selection, it's to an average player like Hodkinson rather then a guy like Mullen or Carney who has deserved selection for years.

That said, i expect Doggies halves to atleast be solid and not hold the team back like the Roosters halves would have done.

Pearce has acted himself out of Origin through his alcohol fueled behaviour at the Clovelly Hotel (from where he has just been banned for 2 years), and later at Kings Cross.

I may have missed this info, but where did you read/hear Pearce has been banned from the Clovelly for two years?????

That said, i expect Doggies halves to atleast be solid and not hold the team back like the Roosters halves would have done.

Problem is that Carney and Mullen are carrying injuries and horribly out of form. The dogs pair Bradbury'd their way into the team.

That said, they worry me much more than Pearce and Baloney. Hodkinson seem like a pretty unflappable bloke who won't be overly affected by the pressure.
Scores even with one minute to go, would you rather Hodkinson or Pearce with the ball ?

If that's the side it isn't too bad. I mean there's still the odd hilarious pick like Williams, but at least Hayne is at fullback and they've gone for different halves. I still have huge question marks over Reynolds and Hodkinson but hey, at least they've gone for something different and punted Pearce and Maloney.

The halves aren't the most ideal selection imo, but they are still so so soo much better than pearce and Maloney, huge boost for us IF true.
Josh jackson better not be selected, he'll go down as buhrer selection if true, absolutely not needed. Scott is 10x the player hoffman is. That team could go very well if true.

Oh missed T. Williams as well, he can get f**ked, most overrated backrower in the comp, even if he has found a little bit of form
