Tony Williams barely made an impact if I recall. And Hoffman got belted nearly every time. He seems to play well at Melbourne but seems to get targeted all the time in Origin. But I'd still probably leave him on the bench with Bird replacing him.

Hoppa Jr is an absolute cert to replace Josh.

Wighton or Taufua to replace Brett. Walker is risky, he'd have to play centre and I dont know if i want him marking up on Inglis.

Hoppa-Wighton/Taufua are very capable of handling themselves defensively

Wighton goes alright too. I think both Walker and Wightn have been more impressive than Hoppa this year, but Hoppa has played Origin before and was 18th man he will get the nod.

Tafua has been a bit sketchy under the high ball this year

I guess the Duges is an option for the wing too

It's come quickly for Hoppa. Gun player. Can he handle it defensively in the centre against Inglis???? (if he's not at fullback) I'd be more than happy for Wighton to play outside him. Jorge is a beast but is Uate like under the high ball at times.

big hit!

everyone putting forward Richards or Tafua, try again. I've never seen either not play on the left. They're in the conga line behind Tupou for the left side, and Tupou will retain his position.

Idris could be struck out too as a left-sider.

There has to be confidence that these guys can play on the right, particular as this is the likely side QLD (their left with Thurston & Inglis) will hammer again in Game 2.

Hoppa will be in contention for replacing one of the Morris'.

Yeah, im pretty certain Hoppa Jr is next cab off the ranks... be interesting to see who gets the wing spot. Tafua or Wighton would be my pick.

But hopefully the Morris boys are ok.
you know how useless your selectors have been the last few years?

wouldn't it be awful that if brett morris was out and they went back to hayne on the wing, dugan to fb, lol.

just when you thought they had got the team right at last!

Its a big ask for Hoppa if he is too go against Inglis in the Origin arena only having just returned to Rugby League 5 mins ago,is it possible to switch Jennings to the other side to defend against Inglis and put Hoppa up against that plodder Justin Hodges?

I'll take my chances with Hoppa on Inglis over Jennings.
Hoppa was absolutely fantastic in his previous stint in a blue jersey. Obviously he's not back at that level yet but I'd back him to do the job, especially if he's got a quality defender inside anWinfe Bird will probably play inside, so we just need a strong defensive winger to play outside.

Definitely biased but to me that guy is Jack Wighton. He is good in the air too.

Jack Wighton snaps people in half when he tackles them,im confident he would do well in Origin, probably the only non derp Raiders player

There is one replacement for Brett Morris whom everyone seems to have forgotten about: The Count!

Anthony Minichiello plays very well on the right wing. He has scored a few tries for the Roosters from that position this season!

Mini could count the jerseys out for Lozza, count the socks, count the missed tackles, count the the expletives used by Gal, get Laurie's water, clean Gals's boots, mop the spit of the floor after half time, open the door of the dressing room for the boys as they run out, set the chairs up for the pre game and half time speech from Lozza, pack the boys gear up and carry it to the bus etc and so on.
