Is Fifita back at all?
I think you've got the backs right, but there is no way Greg Bird isnt coming in to the side. I reckon Hoffman will go to the bench for Tony Williams
So Josh Morris and Anthony Watmough are gone for game 2.
That gives space for Bird and Hoppa to come in.

That will be the team. Both Hoffman and Williams were ineffective, Williams can make the excuse that he wasn't on the left as he is accustomed too and Hoffman can say there wasn't much happening on the left side for NSW.
Hoffman starts or won't be in the squad at all. Specialist left-side forward in the starting team for organising the defence on his side of the field, just like Scott on the right. They don't have the impact to come off the bench and would be a waste of one or two interchange spots.
If Bird comes into the team as the left-side forward, Hoffman will be the one to completely miss out, i reckon.
having Williams in the squad and using him as a middle forward as Daley did in Game 1 was/is a gamble. Daley obviously sent him out with the agenda of standing and offloading in tackles and creating second phase play. It was effective when he was on in Game 1 but you're never going to get big minutes out of T-Rex in that role and we didn't. He won't have the stamina to last in the middle, but it's obvious Daley doesn't expect him too. If he can use his size to draw defenders and offload thus creating space and generating another phase of play, then that puts QLD on the back foot and adds to their fatigue.
One game doesn't win the series.
Apparently Brett Morris is out of the rest of the series with a fracture and ligament damage. Makes his effort that more heroic.
