J. Morris spot shouldn't be questioned, he's been solid for the past 2 series and game 2 doesn't count because of Merrit. B. Morris was quiet, but still did whatever he could right, he deserves his spot. F**k Fergo, he needs to learn what he did wasn't ok. Dugan should be retained on the wing, guy tried his heart out. T. Grant needs to return and Woods to be dropped. i'm not going to speculate on hoppa jr too much at this point

1. Hayne
2. B. Morris
3. Jennings
4. J. Morris
5. Dugan
6. Mullen
7. Reynolds
8. Gallen
9. Farrah
10. Grant
11. Bird
12. Lewis
13. Merrin

14. A. Kelly/Carney
15. Fifita
16. Tamou
17. Watmough

You say Fergo needs to learn what he did isn't ok, yet you name Dugan.

All we know for sure about Fergo's night out is that he got drunk. He has entered a not guilty plea to the charge against him, so until court proceedings are completed we don't know that anything else actually happened.

So Fergo gets suspended for being drunk, while his "mate" Dugan gets off scot-free despite also getting drunk and actually having a bigger rap sheet. The double standards you display are pathetic, but not surprising since the Welsh banker merkin has shown the same double standards.

As an aside, if Fergo is ultimately found not guilty, I hope he sues the Welsh banker and his sycophantic lackeys for everything they've got.

Neither Furgo or Dugan should be selected ever again. The disrespect they showed their team mates and blues fans by their actions leading up to game 2 was unforgivable.

That kind of shit would never have happened in the Qld camp and it pisses me off that those 2 muppets treated the privlege of playing rep footy with such little regard that they couldn't behave like adults

f**k them both

Best chance we've had to win a series in a long time and dumb and dumber f**ked it.

Piss them both off for good.

As long as A.Reynolds stays in decent form he must be the 7.

We need his kicking game desperately.

Repeat sets and his conversions in particular.

Carney then for the running game at 6.

There is a guy named Jarrod Mullen who's kicking game is better than Adam Reynolds and runs better than Carney.

I can't believe you guys actually left out Carney at teh beginning of the series. Crazy. We wouldn't leave JT out just because his club was struggling or he was just back from injury.

Lots of NSW positives for you blokes with some real good performers. Fafita, Duggan, Farrah, Watmough, Gallen, Jennings, Hayne, Bird, Carney, A Reynolds, Lewis - need to be the core of the 2014 side IMO. Got some decent ones like McManus, Ferguson, Cordner, Grant (WTF wasn't he picked, seriously), Galloway, Wade Graham (although you have a couple of back rowers!) etc who could slot in in too.

Get your tongue out of Mullen's arsehole for a second and watch some other teams play. Carney and Reynolds should be the 2014 NSW halves barring disaster. Mullen is playing well but he is not in front of these 2.

Farah, Watmough, Hayne, Gallen, Fifita and Lewis should absolutely be there. The rest will depend on form.

FB: Hayne or Stewart
Wing: B. Morris, Taufua, Hayne, Hopoate, Fergo, Uate
Centre: Jennings, Hopoate, Fergo, J. Morris, Hayne
5/8: Carney
HB: A. Reynolds
FR: Gallen, Woods, Fifita, Grant
2R: Watmough, Bird, Lewis, Stewart, Hoffman (?), Cordner
Hooker: Farah

Mullen's running game isnt a f**king shade on Todd Carney's, you fool. People are actually getting on board with Mullen, and his kicking game this year has been great, so you dont need to make things up to get a mention. God willing he'll be competing with Adam Reynolds for the halfback spot. Todd Carney is clearly this states best half and should be the first name picked at 5/8th

Why the f**k exactly should Lewis be a must pick and Bird not? Bird's origin career destroys the living shit out of Lewis'.

Carney and Mullen are the two most dangerous halves in NSW, the problem is both have proved they're not 7s, so pairing them is difficult.

Well from what Im being told, about 20mins before kickoff, Laurie Daley is going to do a lotto style raffle where random people out of the crowd are picked to play...Obviously the only exception to this will be Mitchell Pearce, who will be the halfback & Captain.

So it will work like this...Daley will stir the numbered balls in the container and announce:

"And starting at prop we have....seat numer 23AH Section C!!!! Come on down!!!"

Great way to really get the fans involved.

I think either of Carney or Mullen would handle the job much better than they would have a couple of years ago. They've both matured a lot and could slot into the #7 and do a much better job than Pearce, imo. Both are much better organisers and leaders than they once were.

NSW have to pick from A. Reynolds, Carney and Mullen - assuming they're all playing as good or better than they are at the moment... and I'd almost have the bloke to miss out as 18th man or in the #14, too... because all 3 of them can genuinely offer some spark and/or x-factor off the bench. Lots of football to go between now and then though, and injuries may well play a part. Piss and Baloney to never see a sky blue again hopefully.

Nah, this is the type of thinking that sees Pearce continue to make the NSW team.

There isn't much difference between 6/7 these days, at least not enough to not have a Carney/Mullen combination anyway.

It's not a theory, it's what happened, both have had teams and coaches try to turn them into 7s and both did not work. If now that they're more experienced they can go alright at halfback is a question worth asking, but as it stands they were both nothing more than unfulfilled potential when they were playing at 7, and games took off once they were put in the 6.

Mullen could do 7 with Carney at 6.
When Mullen has been tried at 7 his preparation was entirely different and he was over-thinking. Under Bennett that has changed considerably. His kicking game is much more like a 7. Carney on the left and Mullen on the right of the ruck with his left to right pass would work with them mixing it up a bit.
There really isn't much difference between 6 and 7 now.

Having said that I think Maloney was "ok" and might keep his spot. He was nothing great and i think that's what we need at 6. We need control of the game from 6 and 7.

Why dont we start from scratch with players that haven't lost a series - no more than 3 Origin games. Couldn't be any worse than continually selecting the same old losers. A team of 'superstars' hasn't worked for the past 8 years!
