You were positive NSW could not win carrying a bloke who had no post contact metres in game one now you are questioning if they can win without his poor pcm?

Which way is it Brisbane centric?

Some people on Facebook are criticising the team because of Prior and Keary. Prior has been a very underrated performer for years and always shows up for every game, he is a good standby. As for Keary remember Inglis/Folau QLD can shove it up their arse.

Absolutely no problem with Prior receiving recognition and inclusion in the squad. Bloke deserves it although it is unfortunate he's had to wait till he is alnost 31 before someone had the guts (brains) to select against the grain.

Great to see Fitler moving away from the blokes we would have included in the past.

What's the Faceshitbook mobs problem with Keary?

He is a Queenslander and wants to be a Maroon mainly. After the Maroons picked Inglis/Folau etc they deserve a taste of their own medicine.

Agreed.

Keary is 26 and has lived in NSW for 16 years of his life. The first 10 in QLD. I can understand QLD supporters questioning his personal allegiance based on his childhood.

Inglis is 31 and lived the first 16 years of his life in NSW. How many years did this bloke actually spend in QLD? His allegience to a state he has little connection to is profoundly weird.

big hit!

Well deserved for Matt Prior. A left field choice but the bloke always puts in. I don’t think he’ll get selected in the 17 but it’s recognition for a damn good career.
Ryan James has been close before. He’s strong in defence & is hard to stop close to the line. A definite chance to make the 17.
With Cotric not selected they must be confident about Latrell.
Well done Freddy.

not as important as players in the spine for training to game continuity, but still, if Mitchell can't train early in the week, NSW should reconsider whether to bring in a left centre early.

how's maloney, he looked banged up against Sydney

Why the hell would NSW ever pick a guy who’s said from the start of his career he’s a Queenslander? Depseration lol.

it would make more sense to replace a Prop on the bench with another Prop.
Especially since Cordner played 80 and Frizell 63 minutes in a single stint, and there is already a backrower on the bench in Crichton. Cordner played a Gallen-type role in game 1 but Queensland got on top in the middle third at times in both halves. Another backrower on the bench is exactly what we don't need.

The dominance in the second half did not get them a single point.

Sims in for Cordner would be the best option. Vaughan to start and James onto the bench. Would be perfect but alas...Cordner obviously has a good stash of very incriminating photos...

The Prior cheer squad has been out in force.
I reckon either he or James will do a good job, but Ennis’ gushing over him has been a bit over the top.

The dominance of Qld in the middle ended when Klemmer came back on, followed by DeBelin and RCG, and we had proper middle forwards. From Gagai's try until Klemmer came back on we were in some bother. Which may have been why he brought Klemmer back so early.

Its official its Matt Prior, actually I'm surprised he was selected considering Tariq Sims and Ryan James have been spoken about so highly. James missed out at the 11th hour for game 1 and Gus Gould went as far as to say he would choose Sims before selecting captain Boyd Cordner. Gould does not have any official capacity as NSW selector though.

Prior certainly has come out of left field and been a surprise selection. I know there have been murmurs about Prior for a couple of years though.
