I notice Jay BONNELL has been cut from the Wests SG Ball team and is now playing for Balmain.
Wests must have a pretty good set of backs to cut a 2009 NSWCCC 18's player from their squad.

It's pretty hard to pick HM's with many players first year in Junior Reps. Here are my choices:

Cronulla - Manly
Penrith - Central Coast
Wests - Canberra
Illawarra - SWSAS
Newcastle - St George
Norths
- Easts
Canterbury - Parramatta
Western Syd - Souths
Balmain Bye

Spoke to a couple of people involved with Penrith and they are expecting HUGE things from this years Harold Mat's side. Ones to watch include Bryce Cartwright, Jakiel Fuimaono and Wiki Tuavao

So who does everyone think are the big chances in Harold Matthews this year?.. and the players to watch?

I think Penrith and Canterbury have the strongest squads, Parramatta will be strong as always and Souths and Manly have some top players, although I've heard Souths have lost prop Solomona Laulu for the season... a big blow... and does anyone know what happened to Manly centre Jim Stewart?

Players to watch out for in Harold Matthews IMO are:

Jake Lawrence - Newcastle Knights
Alan Nuilesa - Canterbury Bulldogs
Frazer Masimanua - Parramatta Eels
Kalausa Leha - Parramatta Eels
Jim Stewart - Manly Sea Eagles
Bryce Cartwright - Penrith Panthers
Clinton Gutherson - Manly Sea Eagles
Jakiel Fuimaono - Penrith Panthers
Robbie Kamoto - Parramatta Eels
Uafu Lavaka - Canterbury Bulldogs
Brent Anderson - St George Dragons
Shannon Crook - Illawarra Steelers
Gus Jasmin - Canterbury Bulldogs

I expect Canterbury, Penrith and Parramatta to prove a handful in both grades.
