We let that one get away. Stupid plays at stupid times. Jake Friend is becoming a real liability at this point with slow service and passes that are lucky to not be called forward every set. Guerra has been better than Friend.

Our attack just isn't clicking at the moment, we can't seem to finish the opposition off.

The refs also killed us in the penalty count again. Anyways, all said and done, 6-3 is a great result prior to rep break.

2 Manu
1 Pearce

SKD had his best game of the season but i can't give him points due to not lerting the ball go out towards the end. It comes from enthusiasm but it killed us in the end.

The officiating didn't help (not so much what we got penalised for, it's what the opposition was not penalised) but the problem was poor choices by our players. Cordner chose the wrong option when he had the 3 v 1 which did not result in a try; SKD flinging the ball back in field on the final tackle of a Perace kick which Johnson pounced on but Gordon tackled him; SKDs error was compounded by Tetevano then flopping on an already tackled Johnson and giving away the penalty which got the Warriors down our end of the field. Thoise 3 things, in my opinion, cost us big time.

I agree regarding Friend's service from dummy half. At least one of the charged down field goals was a result of Friend standing up, taking 3 paces and THEN passing the ball back to Pearce. I'm starting to think fatigue may be the issue there for Friend, so maybe Trent Robinson needs to spell him a little bit and use either Watson or Carter in 2 x 10 minute stints to spell Friend so he can get his breath back. It is silly that, yet again, Watson played 0 minutes yesterday.

I still need a day or two before I do my 3-2-1 as I'm disappointed with how the boys thru this away. No disrespect to The Warriors, nor the match officials, it was our boys who stuffed up.

3 - Keary
2 - Cordner
1 - Skids

Cordner and Skids both made crucial errors that pretty much cost us in the end, but they were so wholehearted in their effort I have to forgive them. Reckon Keary looked really good and defended well.

Tough one to take though but the effort was great on that 5 day turnaround and we'll be there when the whips are cracking.

Friend desperately needs a spell in the middle of the game. He played his best football in 2013 when Dan Mortimer was getting 25min in the middle of the match.

Agree with comments re Friend's game time. So what's the deal with Watson, then? Can we assume the kid's leaving given Robbo's lack of interest?

I hope not but his utilisation is mystifying to say the least.

One thing I will say though is that this year it has been a theme in general across the league for one bench player to not get game time. Watson will get his chance during the origin period so hopefully he puts a case forward that can't be ignored.

3 points: Shaun Kenny-Dowall. Other than one mistake at the end, had I thought his best game of the year.

2 points: Boyd Cordner. Did a lot right and would have gotten my 3 points until he stuffed up the 3 v 1 situation against RTS.

1 point: Sio Siua Taukeiaho.
