NZ A Squad

Wonder if someone can help (carlnz ??). At the conclusion of the BC
final yesterday, Sel read out the names of the guys selected in this
squad (I left as he was walking out so I didn't hear ). Apparently
Misili Manu was named in the squad but he doesn't appear on any
list I've seen today ( he's not on the list on your site Carl ).

Anyone know what the story is ?

ahhh....that would explain it then. It would not explain why he was not in
the squad though. I know he is going to Souths but he is a NZ Resident player
this year. Ah well, maybe Stan Martin will pick him up for Auckland A.

Who is the coach and selector/s of the NZ "A"?

Phil Prescott (Canterbury Bulls) is the coach. Not sure about the selectors
but I think Duanne Mann may have been one.

Its amazing how much talent we have on the wings and centres at the moment, and watching St Pauls vs Aranui - we have loads more coming through!!!

Amazingly enough a mate of mine is in the Aranui team and they send their 1st XV to Australia to play rugby ended up having a league comp to and did suprisingly well in it with a 1st XV.
