Yeah I was under the impression you couldn't switch. 2 nations for life, so to speak.
Or one tier 1 nation and one tier 2 nation for life and you could switch between the two as many times as you like.Yeah I was under the impression you couldn't switch. 2 nations for life, so to speak.

The match will be Coote’s first representative game since playing for City in 2012. He has been on the cusp of NSW selection the past two years and said his international debut could help pave the way to push for interstate selection honours.
“You can make a statement,” Coote said. “We’re coming up against the best teams in the world. If I can perform here then there is no reason why I can’t play Origin. I’ll be coming out giving everything I’ve got.”
Wasn't sure where to post this, but cootes comments infuriate me. We are better off without players like him playing internationals for a country as a springboard for an Australian state. I still think stronger laws would be better for our sport, not weaker.

I see no problem with players wanting to gain origin selection as long as they continue to want to play for a scotland, samoa, lebanon etc..
Ive been calling for it for years
