NZ must buy from union

Thomas Leullai is the shittiest playmaker I've seen for a long time. He is obviously not a long-term solution.
I think they must look to union to solve that problem. Im not usually for tying to give big bucks for players to switch codes, but in this case, an exception must be made.
If the Kiwis even had a halfback of Joe Williams standard, they would have won two test matches in this series.

where were andrew johns, craig gower, stacey jones when they were 19? a player hits their peak around 24-26 years old........give him time, hes gonna learn so much from this series......but yeah it wouldnt be a bad idea to buy from union....maybe a fullback or something

he's doing unreal considering he's only 19.
Im sure Stacey Jones will be working with him over the years to get his kicking game into gear, and with experience he'll learn how to control the game.

ummm, funnily enough we already have the most highly touted young half in the game, a certain Benji Marshall. What the Kiwis really need is to go into at least one game a year without 20 players unavailable :!:

You've got another excellent young half in Jerome Ropati.
Injuries killed off NZ's chances of winning before the Tri-Nations even began.

No relation to Tea Ropati.

Ropati and Marshall to be the Kiwis halves next year. Very very exciting pairing.

A agree with balmainbenny.... NZ have some serious halves problems with need to be sorted. Ah well... I'm a GB supporter so I'm not fussed what happens

They were not as good as they are now but they were alot better players, comparing Thomas 'I am a centre playing halfback' Leulaui to any of those guys is like comparing chalk and cheese. Players don't just learn how to kick when they're in their 20's, a kicking game is something you learn when your in your teens. Joey has been trying to work with Kurt Gidley to develop a kicking game for a while and Kurt still hasn't got much of a kicking game. I got no idea why Parra were so eager to get him.

Dont count on Stacey Jones. He is a quitter.

He could have been over ther helping his team mates and leading his nation.

Instead he decided to quit. So forget about him and look to the future.

Anderson will leave as NZ coach soon, so Jones may return. :|

But I agree he is a quiter with no heart or steel. But he is their best option.
