NZ should be favourites?

Yeah I started a new thread and didn't notice this one.

After watching the Storm vs the Roosters, it showed how strong the Kiwis will be at the World Cup. The two front rowers Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Storm prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona were awesome and the the Bromich brothers, also Brandon Smith, the half back Hughes and the centre Manu. I might have missed a couple but these players are very good. On top of that there is Fisher Harris, the five eight from Parramatta Dyna Brown and then the Warriors players. And I'm sure there are more.

The Kiwis are paying $5.50 to win the World Cup, that's overs if I've ever seen them.
Which Warriors players do you reckon will get picked?

Canberra have 4 Kiwis who should make the squad. Tapine, Rapana, CHN & Timoko.

How many are even eligible?

But probably DWZ is in, Johnson as squad depth, Harris would be definite but apparently he's retired from international footy (spit). TBH, Arthurs might even be an outside chance considering NZ's centre depth at the moment.

Marshall-King is at Dolphins next year.

That's a really really sad indictment on the quality of NZ player at the Warriors at the moment! Not one of the starting 17 Kiwis in the Warriors squad. Is that a first?

I've been banging on about this for a couple of years. The current Warriors organisation is not NZ focused at all. There were often times this year when there were barely 3 Kiwis eligible players in the starting lineup.

It's a joke, there was no need for the Dolphins to exist, the Warriors may as well have just stayed on there after this season.

Dolphins are in because of money. They are the richest club in the nrl. They will be a powerhouse club in 5 years tbh with all the money they have

The Dolphins as a whole aren't a bad team, and they're pretty rich. I like them, but sometimes I hate them. It would seem easier to pick some other team not to bother, but I still like them. I'm a Dolphin fan, I guess :) Also check out one telegram channel - https://t.me/s/betpokiesnz - it's interesting about money in casinos. Here is a pretty good write-up about casinos in New Zealand, I think everyone should be informed.
Basically, all the clubs are there for the money 😉

Bring Johnson on in second half with the 2 big boppers on 60min to create havoc.
Those 5 rotating forwards are insane with Smith also able to drop into the pack!

They have 4 centres in good form in Timoko, Kris, Hiku and of course Manu so no need to shift Rapana there or CNK who hasn’t played first grade in ages.

I’d go TMM or JMK over Johnson as well for bench utility depending how they plan on using Smith.
