McMillan has maintained a superior average throughout his career (now up to 50 tests). Infact his test record is one of our best ever, second only to Richardson in the current set-up. I certainly wouldn't call Astle reliable, he is probably the biggest hit and miss man in the team. Our best century maker but also very good at getting out for single figures.

It could be potentially NZ's best squad, except our spinner needs to start playing like an international bowler rather than a club 4th grade tweaker that he is currently.
