I don't think so. One was immoral and borderline on the verge of a mental breakdown, the others during that era were Geoff Howarth and and Jeremy Coney who were fantastic leaders and wouldn't have ever stressed out about McKechnie as Chappell did.

And you're incorrect, there's four Hadlees who played for New Zealand. Barry, Dayle, Richard and the legendary Walter.

Correct. Barry was a batsman, Dayle was a fast bowler, himself and Richard opened the attacked in several matches for New Zealand. Dayle had 70 odd test wickets, probably would have been more but he was riddled by a back injury. He's now the coach of the BIL Academy, which is New Zealand's version of your AIS but for cricket only.

Barry only played two ODI's in the mid 70's, one at the Prudential World Cup of '75.

yup - Barry only played 2ODIs as a batsman, not of the class of the others...

Walter is a huge figure in the history of NZ cricket - influential and controversial captain, administrator, and of course as a father.

Dayle as Iafeta pointed out had his career curtailed by injuries - many believe that in terms of talent he was a better prospect than Richard - whether or not he would have had the undying drive to attain perfection that Richard showed is not clear. He's now a coach at the NZ academy working with the NZ fast bowlers
