Up the Wahs.
Was this only 12 months ago?
Didn't the Wah's go downhill fast?
And BTW, didn't Mr Angry look good in his new suit?

League Unlimited Forum Awards for 2024.

Firstly the Skinner Memorial Tipping Competition.
A great fight this year between JJ and Beavers Headgear.
In the end BH had to go for a couple of outsiders to try and get the lead.
Didn't work but made for a memorable fight
Congratulations to JJ. Winner with 138 points..
First runner up:
Beavers Headgear 133 points.
Second runner up:
Capt Warrior with 130 points.

The MPV award for best player of the year as voted by the 3-2-1 points by our members:
Mitch Barnett 2477 points.
Runner Up:
Addin Fonua-Blake (again) with 2202 points.
Second runner up:
Te Maire Martin with 1309 points.
Thanks to Meth for keeping things in order.

Big Marn ran a "Snakes & Ladders" tipping competition which was enthusiastically supported.
Winner was Beavers Headgear with 366 points.
Runner-up Penrose 13 with 301 points.
Second runner-up: Space Monkey with 290 points.

The forum had a few new members in 2024. Welcome. You are welcome to join in any of our competitions.
No prizes for winning other than the warm fuzzy sense of achievement and the respect of other forum members.

Now a few thank you's to people who help keep the forum ticking. In no particular order:
Keeping the "Roster gains & losses" up to date: One Warrior.
Keeping the "Weekly match results" up to date : vvvrulz
With his weekly "General Non Warriors thread" as well as being our roving reporter : Blair.
For always being a good sounding board: Big Marn.

So far I have mentioned people who do specific things. There are also people who are regular contributors to our forum and are often on here. Among them Manu Vatuvei, who has been here 21+ years, deserves a long service medal; Philip Smith; Wheeled Warrior; Meth, earned his 20 year medal this year; Ozbash; Beavers Headgear; Rhythm & Stealth, League Nut; Sup42.

Speaking of Sup42 he posted a couple of superb messages this year. Should we have an annual award for post-of-the-year? Thoughts please.

Anyway on behalf of MKEB, Meth and myself hope you all have a great Christmas and I hope to see you all next year.
