Just stumbled across the biographies of the NZRL Zonal Boards. Very impressive on paper, but will they deliver?

The Chairmain or CEO has put together an impressive group of people.

There is a bunch of talent there alright....but I'm reserving judgement.

I know it's what we wanted, but most seem just a little too far removed from the game.

Put it this way, I'd be embarrassed to submit my CV and I'm considered to be a professional with tertiary education and even though my league pedigree is a lot more extensive than the majority of the board, I think the board has good mix whereby the entirety of the board can walk between grassroots and corporate.
