Yes. Right. Just a silly question, though - if we don`t pay our naughty old train fares, then who will pay for the maintenance of the train system?

The owners of the train system!!!!!!

Unfortunately we (the citizens) sold it to private corp interests as we have done with almost everything else.

When we create our own money (as we did with projects like the Snowy Hydro) we both build and maintain it with the money WE (citizens of Terra Australis) create. The government WAS the representatives (servants) of the citizens and thus treasury/reserve bank/Comm Bank created the money out-of-thin-air backed by the wealth of assets created by the citizens. This money was debt-free interest free.

Now the government is a private corporation "Commonwealth Of Australia" representing its stock holders ("The Crown" & many other private corps sitting underneath it) who own almost everything under the umbrella of federal, state & local government departments, branches, agencies, authorities, transport, etc, etc. Now we citizens ARE SLAVES to the private corporations and almost all the proceeds we create from our slave labour (fruits of our labour) benefits the private corporations AND NOT THE CITIZENS OF TERRA AUSTRALIS.

Ever wondered why there is no debt on the Snowy Hydro but we are still paying off the Sydney Harbour Bridge (now due to the East distributor tunnel and other additions)?????

Do your home work Lingard. Get ready for a HUGE REALITY CHECK!!!!!!!!!!

Its only been lies that have kept the schemers getting away with almost everything and profiting from the FOOLS (us) who believe/d in their lies.

I try to keep an open mind about most things, Casper, so I will watch one of your videos (the shortest one, because I don`t have a lot of time - too busy being a slave to the system, trying to feed the wife and kids and myself.)
Funny thing is, I don`t feel like a slave. I don`t have a victim mentality anymore. I think that`s come with age and maturity. I get a lot of satisfaction from my work (helping the mentally ill). I get a lot of satisfaction from my family. I`m very grateful for a lot of the things I have in my life.
I think there is a lot to be said for acceptance, too. As much as I might like to have an alternative life-style at times, the fact is I was born into this western (largely American) culture, and I live in it. And for all its faults and all its failures, there is probably more good in it than evil. I would really like for you to start pointing out some of the good in this culture of ours.
The only thing I object to in your postings, Casper, is this implication that you have this unique knowledge that only an elite few can grasp, and that you therefore have some sort of obligation to 'educate' the rest of us poor ignorants (who may or may not 'get it').
Let me tell you, Casper, there are a million different ways of viewing life, and yours is only one of them.

Cheers, Lingard.

Greg Bird has been convicted and fined $2,500 for lying to police about how his girlfriend was injured at their Sydney home last year.
Bird was convicted of glassing his girlfriend Katie Milligan at their home 14 months ago.
He was sentenced to at least eight months jail, but he served none of that because his lawyers challenged the conviction.
Two weeks ago they won after Ms Milligan testified, saying it was an accident.
Bird was back at Downing Centre Local Court today to deal with the last of the charges, one of public mischief.
That relates to the lie that he told police shortly after the incident, when he blamed his flatmate.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to that and his lawyer Chris Nyst today argued that he did not mean for his friend to get in trouble.
He spent close to an hour arguing that Bird is a man of good character who has been through enough.
The magistrate fined the newly-signed Titans player $2,500, but he said he could not let him get away without a criminal record.

so - does that make him a prick now pete? .... a judge convicted him

let me add - $2,500 is a pretty small punishment in my books - he basically intentinally accused a knowingly innocent person of maliciously injuring someone - that is an accusation which has a pretty f'n big consequence

Gee whizz eh!!!!. A judge convicted him of what? Not the initial charge of causing malicious injury..
I don't like the bloke, but we have to accept the court system, otherwise there would be anarchy..

What are you saying Pete....... there already is anarchy. The court system is a farce. Long ago Bird would have been jailed a few years for being a threat/danger to the community.

How can glassing someone in the face be an accident?

$2,500.00 represents anarchy Pete, we have a convicted nutter loose in the community. Yes, he may have & still is repenting BUT, gees what about all the thousands of hard criminals, particularly sex perverts, pedophiles, etc, quickly released back in the community after serving a short sentence or were let off (great barristers at work) or payed a pittance of a fine.

Going back over the last 25 years, if we listed all the farce sentences in Australia it would take many many meters of A4 paper to list them all, in general small font sizes, one after the other, listing just the case number, court and names.

well he WAS convicted of that by our court system - but then got off on the basis of one judges opinion in the same flip-flop, lets get lucky to get the right judge with an appeal court system

but yeah - he's been convicted, of public mischief, pete .... by a judge - cos of course judges are always right, remember - so clearly we are allowed to call him a prick now

like casper says - it already is anarchy - $2,500 for glassing someone and trying to send the police after someone you know is totally innocent

he now has a criminal record, so pete it was not something the court deemed to be minor. This criminal record should now mean places like the UK and US do not want him in their country. Australia even looks closely to decide if foreigners with criminal records can enter here.

I think Marcus Einfeld showed us all how great the court system is, and if you know the way around it, you can manipulate the facts.

Jingoes...Thanks for that answer B A E...it is certainly a stain on the integrity of Greggy Bird isn't it...As I posted , 'that'll teach him' and it has restored the faith of everyone in the judicial process. so pete, you seem to be indicating a harsher penalty was required for the guilty verdict.

Perhaps 8 months jail time.
