ANYONE in the hunt for a pretty female flatmate might be interested to know that Christina Caffrey - the Irish backpacker rescued from the surf by Jarryd Hayne - is searching for new digs.

Caffrey began working the bar at Parramatta Leagues Club this week, but is making the arduous trek on public transport from a mate's couch in Coogee.

Having secured her a job, Eels officials are now hoping someone can offer Caffrey a room closer to her new workplace.

Wish I could accomodate - but I live in the eastern suburbs (plus have a girlfriend who is rather handy with kitchen knives)

Phil Dunphy is my idol. The man is hilarious. I loved the episode where they're in Hawaii and he's talking to Clare and while shes talking she says "are you watching Gloria in the reflection of my sunglasses?" and he responds with such clever wit "is it me or is she moving in slow motion?"
