Harsh.

The coach Lane Kiffin deserves a chance. He came in to an organisation that had an awful roster, coming off a 2-14 season and years of losing. The Raiders were far more competative last season under him. We went 4-12 however we showed a bit more. He is smart enough to realise we are a running team and has won us some games on the ground alone.

The last young coach the Raiders had was Jon Gruden. Kiffin deserves a decent chance. If we can win 6-8 this season i think we should be given a third season.

I'm just not impressed by Kiffin. He's young, yes. But he doesn't seem to possess that quality that makes others stand out.

I get the feeling that buffalo will stop Mcfadden and co which will spill disaster for Oakland.

My feeling is 38-10 Buffalo's way, yes i know it sounds extreme i just think 2-0 at home Buffalo are on a huge high at the momemt and playing very well in ever facet, also I think Marshawn Lynch is due for a huge game as he's been somewhat disapointing in the first two in regards too rushing yardage even though he has two TD's already.

Dude give him a break, he took over a shambles of a side and they're atleast looking like wining atleast 6-8 games this year, he's improving the side, don't expect miracles;-)

Ive enjoyed watching the Raiders play so far this season. Asomugha is the man, hes continued his excellent form and is probably the best corner in the game imo, lengths better then Hall.

dumbest move was trading the 2nd for Hall, especially now that we now Deshawn Jackson would have been available for us and i can't see Davis passing on that speed. Although DJ did the biggest rookie mistakes i have seen for awhile last w/e

This is a franchise used to success. I expect that trend to continue, and Kiffin isn't the guy to do it.

For an organisation used to success its been a damn long time since they had it....

Give Kiffin a go ffs...he's had two seasons with a sh*t squad and he's building it.

He's now got a great secondary...a developing, young offense...let him work the O-Line a bit and you'll end up having the protection to let them do their work.

Well duh yeah - that's the point.

I'm more than willing to give him a go. I just don't think he'll amount to anything.

glad the bills won. allmost had a heart attack. i remember a game between the cowboys and bills (last year i think!) where the bills led by 8 with like 5 mins to go and cowboys won!

That game was a huge choke for us, we were smashing the Cowboys and they scored a TD and FG too clinch it at the death, how we lost that game i'll never know, our special teams and defense were superb that night.

another great day out for Oakland fans. Giving up 25 in the final quarter, squandering a great lead.

i listened to the radio coverage and we were all over them in the first half with a 15-0 lead at half time. we were making sacks, forcing fumbles, intercepts, even safeties! LT couldnt do sh*t and then Jamarcus was making good passes and such. then in the 4th quarter it all just slipped away.

The Raiders defence played really well they held LT and Sproles and limited Rivers to his usual short dink and dunk game. You do what the Raiders did by stopping the pass over 20 yards you stop the Chargers. imo Rivers has a lot of trouble throwing the ball accurately over 20 yards, the ints Rivers threw were passes 15-20 yards and never looked like anything other than int’s. To beat the Chargers you stack the box but you have to contain both RB’s LT and Sproles (he is very good) and take a chance and go 1 on 1 with the WR’s and make Rivers beat you. The TD’s the Chargers scored were from turnovers, one drive started at SD 35 yard line after an int. An 18 yard interference call helped with a 9 yard pass to Gates , the second started from a sack and fumble recovery at the Raiders 15 yard line. Hand off to LT and touchdown, just the usual. The momentum had changed after this and the Charger defence was confident and the Chargers were always going to win from here. Phil Simms did comment that he had only seen 2 other QB’s throw the ball 70 yards or more, one was Brett Favre I can’t remember who the other was and JaMarcus Russell today (15 yard line to 15 yard line, incomplete though)). The Raiders did play very well on defence if the offense can step up they can be competitive.

yeah it was a tough game. the Raiders are really good when they dont have the ball!

Jamarcus panicked a bit with the lead i think. he seemed to get worse as the game went on. shame for oakland..they were the better side for most of the game.

LT had 2 good runs. the second one was good to see. the guy coming across in cover (huff?) had him easily i thought on the angle. LT was too good. promising signs there.

interesting that the 2 wins we have had rivers hasnt been as good as he was when we lost. The Defense has picked up though. got some turn overs.

still let in over 250 passing yards. things arent back on track just yet in san diego.
