Tigers ripped off?

They scored straight after, forced golden point, THEN missed field goals from in front.

They robbed themselves.

If you run behind a player and gain an advantage then it's a penalty. In the Hodges Origin try, well, it was dodgy, but we shouldn't have allowed Hodges to run like that in our red zone. We should have reacted better, and we missed him, one on one. He's so big and strong. Look Qld are the better side, they deserved to win the series.

So if the refs make a bad decision that leads to points, and then the disadvantaged team scores soon after, everything is OK??

The way I see it, the Tigers were given a victory against the Sharks on the back of a dodgy decision. I hold no sympathy for them.

If things were fair, the Sharks would be given a dodgy decision assuring them of victory against the Dogs (since the only time we could face them in the finals - i like this idea).

Interesting to gauge the reaction of dogs fans after this decision compared to the obstruction call made against them when they played the dragons in 2009...

As I recall there wasn't much "just deal with it" coming out of their mouths at that point

Mistakes are made, and that was a mistake by the referees, but the Tigers had opportunities to win in extra-time, that's all we're saying.

That decision literally cost the Bulldogs the match though as it was the last play of the match. You can't say with any certainty that the Tigers would have won that match if the try wasn't given. There was still plenty of time left in the match and anything could have happened. Yes it was a shit call but the Tigers could have and should have won that match but didn't take the chances that were offered like Farah missing the field goal

Also benefited from a 7-2 penalty count with some of the most baffling penalties awarded. Honestly if you can't win despite 1 bad decision, frankly you don't deserve to win. The Tigers had a million chances to win that game, people should just realise...they were just not good enough. The video ref didn't screw them, they screwed themselves.

Getting a fair try disallowed at any time of the match is equally bad.

One could just as easily argue that the dogs had plenty of opportunity to win the match against the dragons in the previous 79 minutes play without having to resort to a last ditch try, so didn't deserve to win that game either (and be just as wrong as the argument is about the tigers)
