About two months ago i gave it too this guy, but there are a few players who have the attitude that should be seen at the sharks. Tweety will be the next captain for the sharks and it was interesting to see him run out second after half time.

Next year our forward pack will be a big force with the return of more passion in Ross.

Bird has saved us in defence on many ocassions and him along with Gallen and Thompson have been shining lights over the past month.

The forwards are fine so lets see our over payed backs doing something.
That doesnt include covell the guys a legend.

I hope he's the captain in years to come as well. Wears his heart on his sleeve, is an example as he's overcome his 'early years' not worth mentioning, and he's a bloke who steps up when the chips are down. My fondest memory of him this year is against the Knights.... That flick pass just after halftime.....

Straight from playing SG Ball for the Knights and into firstgrade at the Sharks at 17 or so.
Many players don't even make firstgrade till they are the age he is now.

& despite the hysteria that still seems to surround him, he should really be only a bench player for the Sharks.

He has stepped up on the park - no doubt about it.

With regard to captaincy - needs to address social issues. Not just the ones that make the media.

I had the pleasure of experiencing his alter ego at Northies.

But in saying that i like what he does when playing - my respect for him stops there unfortunately when he leaves the field.

Gallen will be the next captain , he is cooler than Bird . But Bird has been a revelation this year , definately player of the year. Our forwards will be very good next year .Doug has really stepped up for a young bloke and can only improve.The others have a lot of work to do. ( cept Covell).As do Raper and Lam.

Our club should buy SG Ball players more often but bring them through slower... Franze was a bust but. I saw him playing for Castleford - beau scott like. But fatter and lazy.
