Bg is the most under rated player of the decade for any team.

If he played for saints or parra he would have played 10 origin and test matches.

Wouldn't bring him back now though, can't imagine him being any better then dwyer or Fulton.

I'd be happy to bring him back but he'd be certainly behind Ellis, Heighno, Dwyer and Fulton. Was in the Team of the Season in UK last year so must still be playing good footy. Would offer a lot more than Flanagan IF the price is right.

Flanagan can't get a run with us in a full strength side.

BG was a very good player, but would not be bringing him back now, we certainly don't need another second rower.

It's just a rumour on the official forum from someone who spoke to him, apparently.

Would surprise me too but great news if true. And it was till 2012, not 2011.

I spoke to him at the WT Grand Final Luncheon and he said he had re signed for next year. Didnt mention if he signed for 2012 as well

Do you get your info in Bejing or something. You might what to check your facts Benny G made the team of the year in 2008. He also sighed a new 1 year deal for Hull KR keeping him their in 2011.

Man of Steel eyeing Down Under
Brent Read From: The Australian June 17, 2010 12:00AM

JAMES Graham, the best prop in English Super League, has put NRL clubs on red alert by signing with one of Australia's leading management companies.

Amid frenzied speculation Graham was to join England teammates Gareth Ellis and Sam Burgess in the NRL as early as next season, The Australian has learned the former Man of Steel has signed with Titan Management, the company that orchestrated the code switches of Karmichael Hunt and Israel Folau.

Graham's existing contract runs until the end of next season and St Helens officials, who announced the signing of Manly prop Josh Perry on Tuesday, insist the red-headed forward is going nowhere. If he can't negotiate a release from that deal, he appears certain to follow Burgess and Ellis to Australia in 2012.

The Sydney Roosters and Canberra have already been linked with Graham and Raiders chief executive Don Furner yesterday acknowledged his club would be interested should he leave Saints.

"Obviously, we would be interested in him if he decides to come to the NRL," Furner said.

"He's been on our radar for some time. He's a quality player and the success of Gareth Ellis and Sam Burgess has shown English players can be a success in the NRL. Graham is as close to a sure thing as you can get."

Tigers recruitment manager Warren McDonnell, whose club has benefited from signing Ellis, added: "He's a good footballer. He's got a lot of go-forward in him, he's a tough kid, he's played plenty of Test football and he has a good offload. He's got everything going for him."

Graham has already tasted success in Australia. In 2004 he captained the England Academy to its first series win on Australian soil, beating a Junior Kangaroos side which included Greg Inglis and Jarrod Mullen.

This article is from June, in the meantime Canberra have signed Brett White, but going off this he is obviously on the Tigers radar.

08. Josh Perry [ESL - St Helens] - COU, NSW, AUS
10. Jeff Lima [ESL - Wigan] - NZ
11. Ryan Hoffman [ESL - Wigan] - CITY, NSW, AUS
12. Willie Mason [Hull - KR] - COU, NSW, TON, AUS
13. Luke O'Donnell [ESL - Huddersfield Giants] - CITY, NSW, AUS
14. Jarrod Saffy [Super 15 – Melbourne Rebels]
16. Lopini Paea [ESL - Les Catalans] - TON

These are some of the forwards heading to SuperLeague. Surely they must of considered a couple of them. Jeff Lima is a current NZ international. Technically a marquee signing. Too late now.:(

I take it to read its Furner/Canberra who's radar he's on.
