In other news, my favourite none eagles picks today -

Travis Kelce to KC. (Ive said before, Ertz, Eifert and Kelce are the only TE's in this draft id feed)
Robert Woods to BUF (I think he's a great possession guy to go with the speed guys)
Damontre Moore to NYG (Just really fantastic value)
D. J. Swearinger to HOU (this kid could be amazing after doing an apprenticeship under Reed)
Sio Moore to OAK (One of my favourite LB's in the draft, McKenzie has done a good job)
Terron Armstead to NO (I think he has huge potential)
Tank Carradine to SF (He is just the sterotypical Niners DL men. Nasty and technically very sound)

Picks i dont like:
Marquise Goodwin and Kiko Alonso to BUF (Their other moves i love just think better players on the board at the same position)
T. J. McDonald to SF (Again, better safeties are still on the board, McDonald is a poor mans Taylor Mays)
Montee Ball to DEN (Why? They are stacked at RB)
Duron Harmon to NE (Who? Like i know every year the Pats take some guy no one has ever heard of, but it's getting tiresome and it never actually pans out for them)
Geno Smith to NYJ (I actually love it as a non jets fan, because its piss funny, which is why its a bad pick)
Christine Michael to SEA (Again, they are loaded at RB and i dont see the need)

FWIW - My favourite players left in the draft:

BW Webb, Da Rick Rodgers, Phillip Thomas (i love this kid!), Marcus Lattimore (Hard not to root for the kid), Brandon McGee, Jordan Poyer

Not to play monday morning QB... because these are all calls that i made during the course of the draft but how much better would this be for the Cowboys and their needs

But my wife is pregnat, so im not drinking and im board... so how about this for a draft for the cowboys

How about:
#31 - Menelik Watson
#47 - D. J. Swearinger
#74 - Damontre Moore
#80 - Brandon Williams

That would get them off the hook for Doug Free, give them the range they need from a Safety as FS. Allow Spencer to be let go after this year and groom Moore as a replacement in the 4-3 DE opposite Ware. And give Ratliff space eating help in the middle and clog up lanes for Lee and Carter to clean up the mess.

Lets even try it with positions they actually drafted, regardless of need

They've got S, TE, WR and OL

#31 - Zach Ertz
#47 - D. J. Swearinger
#74 - Keenen Allen
#80 - Travis Fredericks (or if he was gone, and i dont think he would have been - Barrett Jones)

That draft would be boss for Dallas. I love to rag on Dallas but honestly this is one of the strangest drafts ive ever seen. They have barely touched their needs, they've reached for players and taken guys when better players were on board

The Cowboys didn't draft Watson because they didn't want a left tackle. Tyron Smith has that position now and for the next 10 tears. Their is a lot of talk that the Cowboys will sign free agent OT Eric, who is a right tackle to man that position. If this correct then the Cowboys have no need to draft one. The Cowboys need on the OL was on the interior of the line.

We could sit here and argue all night about the Cowboy selection and I don't think I could change your mind. In my opinion the Cowboys have had a good draft so far.

Don't watch college football so my only clue about players is reading about them.

Anyways happy with the Steelers draft so far
1. Jarvis Jones is in the James Harrison mold and should fit the steelers system nicely
2. Le'Veon Bell - A Steven Jackson (rams RB) clone. Some reviews say he was the best RB available, time will tell.
3. Markus Wheaton (WR) - Mike Wallace replacement, apparently he is fast. Has the same initials as mike Wallace at least.

Would have preferred Keenan Allen over Wheaton however the Steelers never seem to trade up or down. Steelers need a safety and perhaps a big WR just in case Wheaton is a flop.

Rams took TJ McDonald

We took TE Vance McDonald

I agree the safety was a reach, Ertz handled him in the run game, enough said

We gonna go through this again?

Rg3

Or

Brockers
Jenkins
Pead
Watkins
Ogletree
Bailey
2013 6th
2014 1st

plus having the two 1sts this year gave them the flexibility to move up and take austin.

I know which side I like better.

.

And like i said last time, that's all great but a franchise QB trumps everything

Who made the playoffs last year?

Wonder what this means for Nick Foles considering Dennis Dixon is now there.

Reckon there is a trade with KC Chiefs now?

No. 99 pick, the Chiefs select Alabama LB Nico Johnson.

Good young thumper.

I love what the Eagles did...Howie wanted Barkley...so instead of letting Barkley go to KC he trades up and get his guy and gives Foles a trade value to the Chiefs.

Great work

Three defensive players so far for the Ravens. Reckon they'll branch out at all? Or are they satisfied with the offensive lineup they've got?
