Voss always makes a d!ck of himself.
Today's Benji Marshall inspired by Aus hockey team win = Big start for the Tigers is a prime example.
He is like Gus, finds an issue and flogs it to death ie. corner posts, except, annoying as he is, Gus has some clue

On the subject of naming random ex players to commentate. When Luke Williamson finishes up in England. He should get a gig, hope Nine gets him before Foxtel.

He'll go to Fox. Nine only get former elite players (or their brothers) to commentate for them.

Voss has no idea. His suggestion that it wasnt an eight point try because it wasnt in the action of scoring is utterly laughable. The ruling is totally in keeping with the way it has been used over the past 40 years to my knowledge. Secondly, clearly it was an attempt to stop him placing the ball down, now if that isnt the action of scoring a try then i dont know what is. Voss is truely out on a limb with this one, he is just wrong...plain and simple.

Gus has the knowledge, the playing experience, 2 premiership rings and the best Origin coaching record to back up whatever he says and however he says it.

Voss has nothing, please do not compare the 2. One is a mastermind, the other is a tool.

I think Voss was of the opinion the try was scored on Williams first attempt at grounding the ball, Williams natural reaction (and that of Thurstons') would tend to make one believe it was the second attempt that was the money shot, I don't know why it is so hard for Voss to comprehend this fact.............

I love Vossy and I reckon he's on the money most of the time. I'm shocked everyone bags him.

Just about every issue he brings up is 100% correct. I mean come, that Dallas Johnson try from Origin 3 was a RUBBISH decision and I support QLD!

It's a ridicules rule and I can't believe nobody cares! I have AFL friends that shake their heads in disbelief at the stupid rules we have and refs that can't get em right. Hell, I shake my head.

Sometimes I wonder if you guys even care for the game at all? You do follow it right?

I actually thought Vautin's attitude to Vossy's points was pathetic. And the crowd shouting out was even worse.

The word moron comes to mind.

The Dallas Johnson try and this incident are 2 seperate issues, don't get them mixed up. Yes Voss is right with the Dallas incident. Of course it shouldn't have been a try, but he is out and out wrong with the 8 point try. It's an 8 point try any day of the week, and I don;t give a $hit what any QLD fan says, he was lucky to not be sitting on the sidelines for a couple of weeks.

Doing no such thing, merely pointed out your poor attitude in posting in reply to a member's opinion. Again, not-mod like for the want-to-be-mod.

How about you just stick to carrying on like a twat and then hiding? Ok princess?

It was going to happen one day, he flogs meaningless things to death, he does occasionally have something good to say but he must think he is the Doyan of Rugby League or something.

He had no clue of what the 8 point try is about and I think some of his other stuff is just as bad.

No no no. You mean its an 8 point try to NSW supporters desperate for credibilty.

Just a 4 pointer to everyone else in the RL world including the players.

The facts that NSW lost 4 series in a row and are the worst state ever to pull on the sky blue and dodgy calls like this make em look better then they really are?

Whatever makes you fell better.

But that's only one call out of many. And I agree with him nearly every time. Shame no one cares though.
