The official Cronulla Sharks app gives you everything at your fingertips - follow the Sharks in 2011 with live scoring, including commentary and stats, of all Sharks matches along with the latest videos, news, player profiles, photo galleries and more.

Anyone got this?
It is $3.99 at the app store.
Dunno why they would release it at round 17.....

Just looking at the iTunes App Store and I notice that the Sharks, Knights, Manly, Roosters, Raiders, Panthers, Cowboys have all recently released apps that retail for $3.99

Just looking at that group, you'd have to say that they are the teams with the smaller memberships so perhaps the developer of the apps is releasing them and testing them out fully before they hit the Clubs with big membership numbers.

I noticed Parramatta offering a free one though. Interesting.

They all have a very similar design template and look like they're all feeding into the backend of the Bigpond/NRL's content management system. Pretty safe to say that they're all written by the same mob who are probably licensed to build and distribute the apps under some sort of contract to the NRL. I'd expect the other Clubs to follow suit soon.

Not too sure about the NRL app you're talking about though. Is that the one sponsored by carsales.com.au?
