and Tuimavave might find it hard to get back into the side anyway.
Warriors coach Ivan Cleary will take a keen interest in the NRL reserve grade this weekend as Evarn Tuimavave returns to the playing field for the first time in six months.
The Kiwis World Cup winning prop has only just been cleared to return from a neck injury and will play for the Auckland Vulcans tomorrow afternoon.
Cleary says Tuimavave is close to pressing for first grade selection and while he is keen to go, they will monitor his fitness over the next couple of weeks.
Tuimavave's last match was during the group stage of the World Cup in early November.
As for Sunday's home match against the Cowboys, Cleary remains confident Denan Kemp is the club's goal-kicking solution in the post-Michael Witt era.
Kemp resumes the goal-kicking duties against the Cowboys after missing the loss to the Dragons because of injury and illness.
While Witt was one of the NRL leaders in goal-kicking percentage last year, Kemp has shown indifferent form with the boot in his first season.
However, Cleary says Kemp is doing a lot of work and is improving.
As for solving the issue at centre, Cleary believes Joel Moon's move to that position will prove beneficial for both the team and the individual.
Moon joined the Warriors this season to play at five-eighth but will line-up at left centre for a second straight game.
Cleary says while Moon wants a return to the number six jersey, they need him in the centres.
He says it will not hurt his development as a five-eighth to play in the centres as he is only developing as a player.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have secured another player in their NRL squad for 2010 and beyond.
Hooker Ian Henderson has re-signed with the Warriors for a further two seasons.
The 26-year-old hooker is in his second season in Auckland and has played 34 straight games since missing last year's season-opener.
It follows moves by the club to retain regular first graders Jerome Ropati, Simon Mannering, Lance Hohaia and Steve Price.
