Actually, it just occurred to me maybe the Hurrell switch is to allow him more ball, since we will be missing our main strike weapon, and we tend to attack down that flank.

He may not look it, but he's had some zippy runs in games this year - e.g. leaving Mini in his dust against Roosters, that try against Tigers where Gould was going gaga over Fish's pace in support, picking up Walsh's scraps and speeding to the line against the Panthers.

God I hope we finally pull a BIG win out, and don't get lazy just cos they're missing a bunch of Origin players (which is never out of the question).

Hurrell is the definition of explosive. He may not have massive pace over 100m... but his sprints are Very fast off the mark.

Well let them loose in some open space for a change, see what they can do. It's time for the opposition to start worrying about playing the Warriors, for traditional reasons of attack, as opposed to us worrying about other sides.

There's some doubt because Qld have named such a large squad (20). They're giving Slater every chance to be fit.

The Cowboys are demanding some certainty asap and want Bowen, if released, to be able to fly out with the team on Friday, or Saturday at the latest, in order to play against us.
