Phillips, we have recruited awfull -in fact put our new players on the open market and i bet very few if any would offer terms to Fui, Muspratt, Kativerata, Thorman, and Langi- they are discards-no two ways about it-
reaaly happy with Mckinnon though - he has improved in defence while his attack is always willing and great.

Show some fire boys because you definately havent got the skill and suttlety!

The players you mentioned were all late inclusions into the squad and were picked up relatively cheaply.

Unfortunately Parra had little to offer some of the more fancied available players at the end of last year, but have still made quality signings in Cannings, Grothe, McKinnon. We also signed up promising youngsters in Witt, Graham for long term contracts.

In the last 2 years we have lost 2 international players. 1 for the entire season and the other for 1/2 the season. You simply cannot expect miracles without your 2 best players!!! END OF STORY

It could be worth remembering that Webster has a point to prove against the tigers. Meggsie LOVES Balmain but was treated rather shabily by the jv which is what caused him to make the jump in the first place - I'm pretty sure this is his first game back at leichhardt as a first grader and I'd be suprised if he isn't fired up for a big one.
