What's happening with Morgan? Doesn't seem to be playing that well in a pretty good Wenty team. Given Hayne could be out this week who steps up? Sio to fullback and Toutai or Goodall to wing? Hunt straight to fullback? Or Hoppa to fullback and Morgan or Toutai to centre?

He is still running dangerous lines and making a fair few line breaks but he is playing very selfishly and is starving his winger of ball at key times.

Toutai, in his first time back playing in the centres after considerable time on the wing had no problems putting Goodall away. Morgan on the other hand failed to put Faraimo over for near certain tries twice today.

Do you reckon Morgan is actually comfortable passing in both directions Forty? My memory (faulty though it may be) was that the way he runs and carries the ball lends itself to popping a pass back in the inside, but he closes himself off to his winger.

That is actually an interesting point and could have something to so with it.

However, when I say selfish I mean not even looking at his winger when there is an obvious overlap.

Also worth considering is that he may know that he can best most other centres in the NSW Cup with his speed, footwork and fend and subconsciously plays greedily as a result.

I think he's injured, although he's been ominously axed from the profiles on the official site, being the only top 25 player to do so since Harrison (or was it Ryan).

Big deal you might say; the profiles are unreliable (Lasalo has played NRL this year and he's not listed) plus the info is up to two years old. But consider this - someone has actually taken the time to remove his profile.
