Sounds like Kelly is struggling, as bad as Roberts is he normally rips it up at that level.

Yeah, he certainly didn't do much to prove Stuart wrong today.

Wenty missed Junior Paulo, and to a lesser extent Ken Edwards, massively today. In recent weeks Paulo has been the leader of the pack as he dominates the ruck and opens up the edges for the likes of Mau and Edwards.

There were some good individual efforts today but the second half effort was very poor on the whole.

Cheers for the updates mate, Doesn't say much for Wenty's pack if a 19 year old has been leading it.

Speaking to someone close to the club, they were scathing of Luke Kelly's appraisal of his game and said he starved Manu mau of a decent amount of possesson...

Manu, appears to be the real deal and semi is improving week to week and has the attack to make it in the nrl

We both saw Mau debut for Wenty against Mounties...if he had arrived in Australia on time this year it is hard to imagine Matt Ryan/O'Hanlon/Joseph Paulo etc keeping him out of a permanent first grade spot this season.

As for Radradra, he is finally developing into a genuine first grade prospect. He has played good, consistent footy (with a good amount of highlights) over the last 4-6 weeks. Perhaps he has left it too late though, given he is off-contract for next year (you would know more on that Stagger) but pending his status in the top/second tier cap I believe he is now worth a shot on the wing in first grade.

i haven't seen a wenty game for a while - semi looked like he had the attacking ability for a nrl winger, but his defense and positioning looked woeful - has he improved this? .... then agin, he wouldnt be any worse than we have been - lol

Celary cap would prevent him playing wouldn't it.

According to the email from Kenny yesterday he is on contract until 2015 and beyond which indicates he is contracted to the eels top 25 (unless his top 25 contract starts next year, also it is unlikely we would offer a three year contract to a second tier player) thus it shouldn't affect the cap if he plays.

You could chuck Manu into the deep end too early and stuff him up long term. I'd say they will wait til next year. I can't wait to see him play.
