Other NSW Cup selections this week include Shackleton, Mortimer and Isaac Luke (wtf?).

How does Bundy Cup compare to the NYC for selection priority?

We have some guys like Ben Fritz and Takai Moeakiola that have played both levels at various times in the season. Given that Fritz came from Bundy to NYC it seems like the NYC is a bigger gig but if Stagger or someone else knows, I'd be interested to hear from them.

it's an interesting guage, the NYC played a bundy cup side that were full off fringe bundy cup players in a trial match and the score was something like 44-38 to the wenty side...

I would say that a decent NYC side would defeat a good bundy cup side but as an overall guage there's not much in it in terms of talant, which is why the ARLC need to revamp the stepping stones to first grade.

No, they qualified but are struggling behind Ben Roberts, Taniela Lasalo,
Justin Horro & Taulima Tautai for a seat on the bench.
Don't think they're gonna make it. ;-)

Even if they lose to Manly next week, they should be right for the top 8 on for and against, which is looking pretty healthy.

How does Bundy Cup compare to the NYC for selection priority?.

Some of the new clubs that have entered the Bundy Cup have done so on a connection with the NYC. The NYC squads are large so at the Roosters 17 play NYC each week and another 10 play for Kingsgrove Bundy. After losing the first 17 games Kingsgrove won the last game against Blacktown Workers on Saturday.
Blacktown joined the comp this year and are based on a connection with Penrith NYC. Blacktown won 2 games. Zac Mackay, who played for Blacktown early in the season, set some sort of record this weekend in NYC by scoring 4 tries and 11 goals for 38 points in one game.
Kingsgrove are happy enough to get belted every week as they exist to help the Roosters and their website boasts about the fact that 2 of the players that made up the numbers in Bundy last year were selected for NSW vs Qld in the Under 20?s origin this year.
The better sides in Bundy are connected to State Cup sides and will have 10 or more players that have appeared in the State Cup in the current season.
