From the Herald:

Wests Tigers second-rower Mark O'Neill (concussion) is now certain to play against South Sydney at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday. Coach Tim Sheens will decide tomorrow morning whether Bronson Harrison or Dene Halatau goes back to premier league.

Sounds like Patto is a starter. What a demented move.

what the f#ck does sheens see in this guy. slow, timid, meandering, devoid of any skill or impact. let's drop an up and coming kid who gives there all to make room for this waste of space.

Come on people. It's only Souths! Yeah they have a good record against us but their pack is hardly scary.
Skando will have this week off, then the bye, then he'll be back ready for our run to finals. Pato will get the job done til then.

all i ask is that he tackles and doesnt drop the ball. if he can do that then i'll forgive him his pathetic hit-ups.

you gotta love the halatau. if we ever become a team that can dominate others and get on a fast roll like the roosters, this guy will be unstoppable. i love it how he just pins the ears back and goes for it ... every time. great stuff.

Yeah i cant see Halatau being dropped, it will be Harrison for sure, which supports my theory we may see him play 3 out of the last 5 games in the PL to qualify and the try help Balmain hold thier spot in the 8.

Payten and Laffranchi will need big matches if we are too win

gibbs really has to stand up. to be honest he has done nothing all year.

it's matches like this where you have to start converting some of that potential into performance.

Spot on jv! This is exactly the opportunity where Gibbs needs to do a little bit more and im betting Sheens will let him know that too.

It will be the Attack of the Pillow Man!!!!

What a shame. Two passionate Balmain juniors who would love and deserve a chance to play in this game. Pray for them this weekend.

Yeah thats a shame too , Personally i'd rather see the Balmain boys get the game , still from the selfish side of things it wont be so bad having one of them in PL.

I`ve seen Jamie Small play quite a few times and I don`t doubt his effort and determination, but I have my doubts about his fitness levels and size to make it in 1st grade.Still,I agree that there has been numerous occasions where we could have done a lot worse than atleast give him a chance to prove if he`s good enough or not.

Fitness wise I have no doubts he wouldn't be able to handle a starting spot - but off the bench I think he wouldn't be bad (a much better option than Pillow Man Patterson at least)

Look I know Patterson can defend and thats the main reason why Sheens has picked him and as a PL player I think he is a good one - but he has been tried and tried again for a while now and he just dosn't make the cut IMO and we should be looking at other options than him in the top grade

I agree he deserves a go ahead of Patterson, but i`m eagerly awaiting to see if some of the younger props,ie. Harper,Hunter,Sweeney are ready for 1sts.Richard Parker is also a player with good size whom I believe could provide good impact value off the bench.

I'm Harpers biggest fan but I don't think he is ready for the top grade just yet

Hunter I think could handle the pace and I wouldn't mind seeing getting a crack

But I think the player who could be called up and has been training with the top grade squad for a few weeks now is D!ckson, he has the best tackle technique I have ever seen - he is a buckets clone with the same work ethic but he is just more complete skill wise and technically wise as well!
