this time last year i was happy because we dug ourselves out of the sh*t start to finish '05 well.
this year i've no complaints because save 2 games, we've been ordinary.
bad luck timmo! you're a legend of a club man.
bad luck baz, you weren't anywhere near your best this year, but you efforts were a true measure of your character - you tried your coight off regardless.
bad luck bull - i wish doust hadn't let you go but i'm sure no dragon will ever boo you when we play you champ.
bad luck brownie! you showed in the last fortnight that you are a clever coach & combining this with your passion for the dragons, i really hope you can find the success that alluded you as a player.
well done melbourne & bellamy. they are clearly the best team & it would be an injustice if they don't win the title.
finally - well done dragon forumers! there were more lows this year than last & you all kept a great sense of humour.
remember guys - the great thing about following a footy team is the journey. the bad times are still fantastic because you believe in something enough to feel shattered.
you learn more about yourself during heartbreak & misfortune than you ever would winning 11 straight. remember that. having said that a title would help at some stage soon - but it's worth the wait.
cheers gang
