Yeah, Massoud sounded pretty confident and he has had the good mail on Parra in recent times.

well the thing is, you can be as confident as you want but it's not the sort of injury that you can have a punt on what the chances are of you playing...saturday arvo will be the clear indicator.

Yep the main thing is the fitness test, but IMO they have a fair idea of whether he will pull through it or not.

From memory Didn't HJ get Glenn Lazarus up and running for the 1999 decider?..or was it one of Glenn's relations..

On foxsports news at 7pm they showed the eels training session tonight and Nathan Cayless was stretching the injured hamstring and jogging quite comfortably. Looked very encouraging.

the whole thing could have been a smokescreen to take some of the media away from some of the younger guys.

Yeah...we play most of the semi final a man down because we take our captain off when we are losing to make sure the young players in the grand final next week dont feel as much pressure...

no he was injuried but not near as bad as they are making out and is a certain starter, just wanted to take the spotlight of Hayne, Inu etc

I think they're playing a straight bat with this. Yes, he definitely injured it against the Bulldogs. It was just a twinge however, and with a 9 day turnaround he is a chance of playing in the GF. No smokescreens.

Did you see his face last week? No way it was smokescreens. I think it has just has healed enough for him to take the field
