Just thought I'd open a thread during the off season where people could post their old photos about the Eels.

Good chance for us all to make our own "ephoto albums".

Here is legendary Race Driver Stirling Moss doing demo laps at Cumberland Oval in 1956. Back in the old days when the Oval was the original Parramatta Raceway and Footy field.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Cumberland...Those were the days my friends, we thought they'd never end. Although my regular visits to Cumberland did not start until 1959-1960, that was a great time to follow Parramatta. Pre-breath testing, tribal support, parochial barracking and in 1962..the arrival of The Mayor, Ken Thornett...memories.....
