I suppose the majority of players these days want to test the market to see what they are worth, if only all players were as loyal as the great ET and Peach. IMO I cant see any club offering Bails over 230K. So he may aswell stick around. Im just a bit concerned about the bit when he said "We can give teams a shake next season":?

I think Bails needs his head checked we are coming equal first FFS:x

I have taken big aim at Bailey in the past.


It has shat me to tears the way he would continually run in and push down our tacklers which- der genius- would result in a penelty against.

But he does have talent and he has definitely improved his discipline.

he's worth keeping for three years at that money. If we don't someone else will and how many rep backrowers are going around we don't have to train to that level.

I'm glad we have Phil Bailey and it was a good price. Yes opinions change and I hope over time my opinions change on Bird and Simmons. But I dont think they will exceed expectations like Bailey has.

I'm more interested in why black dot keeps chipping away at certain people on here.

Bailey ended up knocking that contract back and signing on mid way through last year for a little less after his form wasn't so great.

Around 200 or maybe just over is great value for Bailey who is the glue that holds our defence together. He just needs to get better one on one situations again to show what he has with the ball. I don't think he should be next to Nigel in attack. He is our 2nd best weapon close to the line so put him on the other side to nige and really attack both edges. I still view him as our next captain when Noddy retires.

It's meant as purely a look at a 12 month old thread to see how peoples opinions, and players form can change. You pointed out your simmo and bird feelings now and that it would be great if that changes the same was bails has changed your opinion, would be great if they can like you say.
