Did they ever!!! I remember a game at old ANZ stadium in brispain. Down in SE corner near goal posts. cheep seats sun in eyes etc .All action in that game seemed to happen in NW corner.early on heard some ...WACK! little later,... WACK! ...Sharks player just running like a madman into Boncos big men Then just getting up and playing ball like nothing happened.My kids had better eyesight than me so kept asking them Who was that? They didnt know the players but said it was the guy with tje long blond hair.
Martin Lang, just as tough, Ryhno,great player,didnt miss many tackles.May only have one premeirship , but have had some great players and teams.

Then there's the Quigs, Poppa and Tom of Poland era... which is wrapped up in foibles and mythology

No and that has it's pros and cons. 2012 nailed the rough dials but enlarging let me get a better look at the blondie in the background between Ryno and Langy

I'm using chrome on a MacBook if thats relevant

You might have better chance( closer to your age) the one over Langs left shoulder. I was more interested in the fiddle player on Longs right shoulder.Love a good lady fiddle player.

Yes I’ve been watching Sharkies highlights on U Tube. High quality stuff from ET , Mitch and Matt. How fast was Brett Howland, wow. Actually they were all fast even Davo.

Boring rainy day here. Checked out that great pic again and noticed something I missed before . Martin Lang has GREAT fashion sense ! Comfortable white T shirt (V neck for added comfort, and pocket ,for pen and notebook) Oh and baseball cap to stop sun from frying the brain. Actually pretty close to my standard uniform for yrs I spent doing flood irrigation. Didn't have luxury of the V neck so usually just stretched the crap out of them soon as I got them. Had to put on collared shirt to get let into a club in those days.
