the one of reasons why we lost last night was because of 2 players.

I dont know why they were in the team and they didnt do but f**k all last night.

Why were Willie Mason and Andrew Ryan in the team? They did not contribute anything last night at all.

Mason was getting smashed at every hitup while Ryan I did not see his ugly mug anywhere on the field.

These 2 dont provide any impact or influence for NSW. I hope that these do get dropped in game 3 and bring in Watmough and G. Stewart into the team.

Are you sure you were watching the game last night? Mason made some really good metres when he was on and tackled pretty hard. Perhaps he ran out of steam and coughed up the pill once but he was hardly missing. Ryan is not the player he was a couple of seasons ago though.

Watmough has a good chance of coming into the team but lay off the drugs about Glenn Stewart. He's played really well for us but he's not up to Origin standard yet and there are tonnes of quality backrowers waiting for a call up.

I thought Ryan was solid, great defensively. I agree with Mason's early hitup's though, he would charge to the line and it seemed just as he reached it he was just stopping and accepting the tackles or something, no real intent to smash straight through the line which is what he is known for, although he is probably better served playing in the backrow and hitting the fringes

Ryan was Ryan - he played well, and did exactly what he was selected for - let nobody down.

The statements on Mason are laughable - I think he was the only Blues forward that made 100+ metres - easily the best second rower on display

Willie Mason and Andrew Ryan would have been two of NSW's best players yesterday.

I understand everyone sees the game different. But you must have been watching a different game surely.

Willie mason was one of the only NSW forwards who busted some tackles open and looked like creating 2nd phase opportunities, but he didnt often have anyone searching for the ball around him.

Like said above, Ryan is Ryan. He does alot of defensive cleanup work. Some people need to learn that there is more to a game of league than attack.

Mason was our best, far and away...he was the only forward who gave it to the QLDers when they were giving it to us, to say he was poor is laughable :lol:

Ryan didn't have a huge impact, but defended very well...he wasn't great but wasn't poor. Maybe Murray should have interchanged him, he may have had a better game with a rest, but he certainly was better than our entire front row...
