They're certainly pushing Iku pretty hard.

I suspect Ronnie will be in the centres with Iku on the wing.

Hiroti first drop for a winger, Tracey first drop if a centre goes down.
I think that Hiroti will be down the queue, and one of the youngsters will get a crack first, should a winger get injured

I think Ronnie has enough experience to move into center , has to get the defence right tho. Also moving from wing to center can be a career killer if you get caught out in defence. Any way on to the halves.

Our Halves . l think we can presume Haynes is a given, leaving Mozz ,Tricky and Tracy . How do we feel about Miller? His highlight reel was attractive, and he has quite a bit of experience travelling between Rugby and Leauge. Maybe he could bring something different. Will Fitz keep him on? Sorry Ive gone right of Moylan ( I will Leave it to others) . So Tricky Trindall ? Can Fitz get him to the next level? This team needs a really good half back, one that scares the shit outa other teams. Maybe Metcalf but that door has closed.
A drastic answer could be BB ( speed and awareness, can kick) move McInnes to hooker straight up. Start work on getting Brayden back from Newcastle. Jeez must be the drugs I’m on ( recent hip replacement) , but I digress. Tomorrow is Lock, another spine position.

I like the idea of Ronnie to Centre. Big, fast and has some skills. He has been great on the wing for us but it will be interesting to see what he can do with a bit more space and players to use on the outside and inside. I think he will pretty damaging running one in.

I like the thought of Ronnie at centre too… has a lot to learn but Fitz is the defensive guru so if anyone can make it work he probably can. Tricky for me has all the makings of a great long term half. Having someone as creative as Nicho as his halves partner will take a lot of pressure off him. Moyza and Metcalfe are only here for one more year so should only be used off the bench or back-up for injury. Tricky is the future and his prospects excite me as much as WK did a year or two ago.

i thought Metcalf was gone to the Warriors? If he is here another year then he has to be trialled with Niko.
ok on to the forwards.

Why? He’s decided to move on from the Sharks for the second time….,he’s not part of our future so why would we bother with him barring injury.

Lock , another spine position. Wado to the second row and Dale Finucane takes over with Fitz knowing he has a good back up. McInnes will play there as well if not in the rotation with BB. We have spent wisely here.
Tomorrow we will look at our forward pack. We have plenty of them.

if he turns out to be amazing, then offer the Warriors Moylan.

Moyza is pretty fortunate that he got one more year with us…. he had to cop a 60% pay cut to stay on. I don’t think he’s on anyone’s shopping list tbh mate.

Ok let’s have a look at our forwards. Fifita you would have to say is an unknown, be great to see him again on Feild. Dale is another given ,we know what he can do. I’m thinking Fitz will get a lot more out of Hunt and BHU. With another team in QLD these two would be expecting big money offers.

Seeing plenty of training vids on socials from the great man Feefs. Has lost a lot of weight and seems to be really putting in the hard yards.
Man he looks to have lost a lot of his speed though unfortunately. Which was one of his best assets for a bloke that size.

If Fitz can take Jack Williams to next level after the improvement last year, we could see his full potential.
He was always mentioned as the next Gall he may just go to that level, we all remember it did take Gall a few seasons himself

Loss if speed is a worry the way the game is played. Seems to me just about all the teams have plenty of big men with heaps of speed. Dale and Toby have size and speed both can do serious turf time. With Fifita I’m also worried by the type of tackle, that flop was bad and time wasted out of the defensive line. Hope it’s gone this year.

More than a few ! He broke his arm and then went through that mongrel period. But Jack Gibson sorted him out.

I do like Williams as a player, very committed in attack, the penis fingers have improved a lot. That problem may have had more to do with the passer.
Teig will be better with a solid off season as well, but needs more speed to go with his skill set.

Nikora was hot and cold last year and at times seemed to loose interest. He may not get much game time . It’s hard to be critical of players coached by Hannay. But once Morris was gone the team performance dropped. Wade, well we will just have to see. Talakai is another player on the fringe, last year fitness seemed to be a problem . His first season with us he put in a deft grabber kick to the ingoal for BB (I think) to score . Where is that guy? Will we see Pele this year, a huge man, still young and fast enough?
‘Toby R , huge crowd favourite and gives it 100 % . The team lifts when he comes on. Great bench forward.
Teig another player with huge skill set. Could move to center if he could find a bit more speed.
Tomorrow our hookers, now we have three plus Tracy as an emergency.
‘And who will captain the side, I know who I would go with.
