I’m looking forward to seeing how Jackson Ford fairs with a starting spot

Always liked the way he played

I'd like to see Ford in the run on 17 and rotate with Bird off the bench. It is my opinion that playing McInnes at lock will end up blocking others and using up much need salary cap. He will be another disruption as most of the media will be out to put the Dragons down and will use him as a focal point.

Another really promising local junior who went backwards under the guidance of Mary & Hook.

The problem seems to be they ain't prepared to put the time into the younger guys as they are looking for a quick fix with older , and journey men players ..... Need a coach that is prepared to not be there for himself , but there to develop the younger crop as the club has wasted 12 years since winning in 2010 .....

Get Brown back as pathways manager, then we may have a chance of getting these kids through, and have him working with the coach. Brown is a Dragon through and through and has to be a big improvement on the rabble we have now.

I think Brown has just been employed in a similar role at Parramatta. We have Flanagan in that role now, but either nothing is happening,mor the club is playing it's cards very close to it's chest. Maybe we should be hanging out for November 1, awaiting the promised "big announcements"!

We need a minimum of 3 big announcements just to be competitive in 2023:
1. A swap with the Gold Coast - David Fifita for Ben Hunt.
2. The recruitment of a Panthers prop.
3. The return of Robson to the Dragons.

So forwards in our 17 would be:

8 . New Prop
9. Robson
10. De Belin
11. Fifita
12. Su'A
13. Bird

14. Mbye
15. F Molo
16. Lawrie
17. M Molo

If fully fit with a tough off-season under their belt, this would be a competitive pack of forwards with plenty of players able to play in several positions.

He wasn’t let go. Saints offered him a contract and obviously the Warriors deal was better. He chose to go, he wasn’t pushed

Ford had chances under the peanut and Griffin. Not losing any sleep about him going. Good reserve player but not up to nrl standard unfortunately
