Seems that Trent Richardson is being touted not only as by far the top rookie fantasy player, but also as a top 5 RB period across the board.

That's a big call, he will definitely get plenty of touches

He'll get the touches but against a stacked line. Cleveland have no weapons besides Cribbs and the Browns are in the ultra tough AFC North. On obvious running situations, Richardson is going to have to work hard for his yards and will have an average of less than four yards per carry IMO.

Talk about a baptism of fire!

I agree, I don't think it's as rosy as people think.

I mean those defense ain't gonna respect the Browns passing game, what McCoy/Weeden throwing to no-one?

Richardson will be facing 8 and 9 men in the box, while I like the Browns Oline, I think he will be up against it in his rookie season

As much as I like Richardson, we all saw what happened with Matthews, while a Rookie RB may have the opportunity to post big numbers; he's unproven at the NFL level, so he shouldn't be taken inside the first two rounds of a seasonal draft.

In saying that; in a keeper league, he's likely to be the first player off the board.

When you actually sit down and think about it though, and think about how many backs in the league will get 300+ touches, there aren't that many anymore.

Foster and McCoy are the top 2 by far, after that it gets very very muddy.

Richardson could indeed end up a top 5-7 back on draft boards

Id have no issue selecting Richardson late in the 2nd or early in the 3rd round of a draft
as ab says, not many true featured backs in the game anymore and he's going to be one of them.

That's the beauty of Fantasy Football; everyone's draft board is different.

What are the opinions of RGIII and Luck?
I think both will be overrated at first. RGIII will be compared to Newton who had a phenomenal rookie season and Luck has been talked up so much that a lot of people will think he will walk on the field and be Peyton-esque straight up.
In the end RGIII has the higher ceiling this season I think, I like Luck as a dynasty/keeper player more though.

MJD will probably have the most productive season I think

RGIII vs Luck - RGIII will have more success this season simply because he's got better weapons to go to, Luck really hasn't got enough around him at this stage. Longevity wise, Luck will be far better off

Where exactly are RG3's better weapons? Luck has Wayne, Collie and his College TE in Fleener. RG3 has Garcon, Moss, Davis and Cooley.

The thing I don't understand with everyone expecting Luck to be Peyton-like in his first season. In Peytons first season he threw something like 28 picks. Compare that to Bradford (15), Stafford(20) and Big Red Dalton(13). If Luck throws 28 Picks this season people might get a bit cranky with him.

Because of Cam Newton, you can guarantee someone in your fantasy football comp will reach for RG3
if you want to be that guy, i think you'll have to take him one to two rounds before your board values him

I agree, I can see him being drafting in the 5th-6th round in a seasonal league. Which IMO would be to high.

Would there be any interest in yet another league? I'm keen for something similar to the IDP league, full dynasty set up, large rosters, or a redraft/seasonal league, or whatever someone might suggest? If there is interest I'd be up to giving commish duties a go.

I'm pretty happy with my current load of drafts. So i'll sit this one out. Too many leagues takes the fun out of it IMO.
