Its not a ppr league but an evolving bradford and more distractions for opponents defences he should go alot better then last year.

I'd go with grant. As he only has to share carries with Starks, while Thomas has to share carries with like 4 other backs

that's ho i was leaning towards but then i read this

Coach Sean Payton confirmed that Pierre Thomas will keep an "important" and "significant" role in the Saints offense this season.

and it made me 50/50 again but i think ill stick with grant though for now

I'd definitely be going with Grant, I think he is at worst the starting RB who will split carries 70-30 for now, obviously this may change going into the season.

I don't like Thomas at all, I expect Ingram to get most of the carries and Sproles to be the predominant 3rd down back.

I'm not touching Green Bay RB.

McCarthy has said that it will be a 50-50 split between James Starks and Ryan Grant.

I don't trust Grant this year. Restructuring his contract to stay at the Packers...Starks playing well in pre-season...I see it being Stark's role in the near future.

Id go with Grant, i dont see how Starks gets the nod ahead of him, Grant is a 1000 yard rusher a year, starks had the chance to take the spot and aside from the odd spot he faulted bad.

As Big Mick said, I think the contract restructure says it all for Grant and what the Packers think of him. He was in danger of being cut before he agreed to that.

got a question relating to my flex spot. standard espn league

my running backs are Chris Johnson and MJD.
my receivers are Vincent Jackson and Wes Welker

in the flex i currently have Beanie Wells, but have the option of

Anquan Boldin
Reggie Wayne
Johnny Knox
Ladanian Tomlinson
Ryan Grant

who should i give the flex to. Wells, Boldin or Wayne?

given the manning kneck and the cards are playing at home vs carolina im leaning towards wells. appreciate all opinions though.

I would say Wells for sure, you can cross Wayne off straight up without Manning. Boldin also has a tough match up against Pittsburgh.

my Qb's are big Ben and Kolb.

Big Ben is playing at Baltimore. Kolb at home against the panthers. they say start your starters but i dunno. who's the better play there ya reckon?

Big Ben. Ravens know how to stop the run, the yards have to come from somewhere and Ben has looked the best he has in a while during the pre season.

i dont mean to put a halt on this thread, given the season is well under way. but is the fantasy football for nfl like on espn and that similiar to the nrl dream team they run on like dailytelegraph. i know its probably a stupid question but it seems more intense than the nrl dream teams, which is probably because of the fact that a standard nfl side is like twice the size of an nrl side with linesmen special teams and the such

Nope, not even close.

NRL fantasy stinks.

Fantasy football is NFL.

Join a league and find out.

It's not the same. In NFL Fantasy there is a draft, which means that a player can only belong to one team.

In NRL it's run on a salary cap, and you can pick anyone you want, meaning nearly every team has the same players. Far less interesting.
