Ongoing NFL Fantasy Football Thread

Keen to get some thoughts regarding fantasy rookies.

This is for a non-PPR league, a big dynasty league with salary cap and big rosters.

I have the 32nd pick in the offseason draft (already took DeMarco Murray), my roster is very thin at RB and WR, okay at QB (Brees and Stafford), looking at the following guys with my pick:

Christian Ponder
Colin Kaepernick
Ryan Mallet
Delone Carter
Titus Young
Austin Pettis
Greg Salas

Just wondering how you guys rate them, remember this is a dynasty league where you are looking to grab young talent and stash them on your roster cheap till they flourish.

I'm leaning towards Carter or Young but I'm also thinking about a QB (will lose Brees next year to free agency)

Thoughts?

I'm leaning toward Kaepernick or Pettis here

I'm picking again in 2 picks, I figure I'm happy to grab either Pettis or Salas there

What do you guys think of the rookie WRs outside of Green and Jones?

I'm not really liking much, I like Cobb long term but plenty of competition there.

I'd take Pettis out of them.

I can see him being Wes Welker.

I like Greg Little.

I think he can be a difference maker for Cleveland.

I also think Undrafted Rookie Terrance Tolliver may have an impact at some point for the Texans. He's apparantly going great guns for them and they are really high on him.

I always liked Tolliver in Collage, and being picked up for the Texans made me like him even more. Out of the Major Rookies I like Little a lot.

I thinks Jones and little are the best rookie wide outs, fantasy wise

If Tolliver can be what the Texans thinks he can be.

That dude is like 6 foot 4 and is really, really quick. Opposite Andre Johnson he'll be in single coverage the WHOLE time.

At 6-4 he's a match up problem for ANYONE.

Jernigan for the Giants could also step right in and fill Steve Smith's spot in the slot

Hey, just wondering if anyone might be interested in joining a CBS Fantasy Football League? Its a sensational fantasy football set-up (owner pays $200 a year for it) that ive been taken part in with a bunch of Roosters fans for about 10 years now.

The only downside is that the draft for this years league has already been held so you'd be inheriting a team, but it is a very good team as we drafted it as a league to ensure fairness. Contains the likes of Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Green-Ellis, Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin and Dallas Clark.

Anyway its an awesome league and youd get a spot every year in the league so if someone dedicated wants a crack get back to me and ill see if the spot is still available.

Nice...I originally picked up Walker after he was dropped, but reconsidered and grabbed Amendola instead. He had a big preseason and should eclipes 85 catches again.

in PPR amendola is going to be a very good quiet achiever imo
wont score many tds but you can bank on him for 5-6 catches and 50+ yards a game. With the occasional 7-8 catches, 100+ yards, 1 td game sprinkled in
